Not the best pub in the area, the White Hart gets very rowdy on football day and the customers are generally bad mannered young lads in groups. At other times though the atmosphere isn't too bad and although never quiet, at least I can hear myself talk.
The food is quite nice, to be honest I've only ever had snack foods here as it's not the kind of pub I'd want to spend much time in but it's ok for a quick something and a drink if i'm in the area with a bit of time to kill.
The inside is pretty clean but, again on footie day, the staff cannot seem to keep up with wiping the tables and collecting glasses so it can get quite sticky quickly.
The staff are fine, the White Hart does get quite busy sometimes and they manage to serve people in order and rarely have the got an order of mine wrong. My main criticism about this pub is that on every single visit I will get at least one glass that hasn't been washed properly and will have to go and get it changed. This is a shame as there is no need for it and it's not hard for staff to ensure the glasses are clean before using them. read more
