She is so passionate about what she does and gives us caring correction and builds up our self esteem by not only giving us positive feedback but also through a huge amount of empathy. I look forward to her classes because I always feel like I put in my hardest work and best work and I leave feeling proud and fulfilled. Pilates is a routine that needs coordination and concentration. Sam is clear and confident in the directions she gives and comes around individually correcting and improving our flow. Updated Review!!! A…read morelittle over a year ago, I left a negative review after canceling my membership just a few months in. At the time, I felt the policies were overly rigid and lacked compassion. I was denied entry for being about 7 minutes late because of traffic, was charged for late cancellations that I don't remember being clearly explained when I signed up, and even during a public emergency when schools were closed and I had no childcare, there was no flexibility. It felt like once you paid for a class, there should have been some reasonable accommodation for life's unexpected situations. I'm updating my review because, from my experience this year, things seem to have improved. I don't know if there's new management or if the studio has simply become more customer-focused, but the staff has been genuinely kind and much more understanding. I've noticed people arriving a few minutes late (around 5 -8 minutes) and still being allowed into class, and when I had to miss a couple of classes, the team worked with me instead of just pointing to the policy. At the end of the day, Homestead has very limited Pilates options, and I think it's important for local businesses to take care of their community. Policies matter, but so does empathy. I'm happy to say I've enjoyed coming back, and I appreciate the improvements in customer service. Thank you for listening, growing, and making the experience feel much more welcoming.

I needed to renew my ACA instructor certification and wanted to get WPA instructor certification, so I did an ACA Level 1 and 2 SUP workshop and WPA level 1 SUP instructor training/certification with TFY. Meghan is the best SUP instructor/instructor trainer I've had. She's obviously very knowledgeable, but more importantly, she's also awesome at conveying that knowledge. We covered a huge amount of information in the ACA L1/2 workshop, but she made it manageable and easily understandable. The welcome letter she sends prior to class is very helpful and lets you know what to bring, the schedule, and what to expect. Her videos are also extremely helpful to watch beforehand. I thought the ACA workshop would be largely review for me, but I was surprised by how much I learned. She's also very upbeat, encouraging, and patient, and her low-pressure approach creates the perfect environment for learning. She taught high school math for 9 years, and I think her background in education plus her SUP knowledge and skills make her an outstanding instructor and instructor trainer. I'm looking forward to returning for ACA L1/2 instructor certification training.

At first, the representative said he could help, but the moment I mentioned the membership was for both my husband and me, his tone completely changed and he said he could not help. He claimed it was "illegal" to cancel over the phone, yet said I could send a friend or family member on my behalf -- which made no sense. The only people we have nearby are my parents, who were also sick and are the reason we caught the flu. Everyone else is out of state. I asked if a note could at least be made on the account to avoid being forced into the 30-day cancellation period and additional fees due to the circumstances. He became rude, said there was nothing he could do, and then hung up on me. When I called back to ask for his name, I was told he was "uncomfortable" giving it to me. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was busy and that there was only one manager working at the time. I was given the name Kyle Campbell as the manager. Because of how poorly this was handled, I drove to the gym immediately, sick with the flu and all. When I arrived and asked to speak to a manager, Alejandro Delgado sarcastically walked over from the corner where he and other staff members were sitting around talking, confirming he was the manager. This was about five minutes after the phone call in which I was told the manager was too busy to help. Alejandro Delgado then confirmed that there were actually multiple managers working, directly contradicting what I had been told on the phone. Despite claiming to be too busy earlier, he stated that he had heard my entire phone conversation and insisted that I was not disrespected or treated poorly -- even though I had been hung up on and offered zero assistance. This was especially frustrating given that he and his colleagues were clearly chatting and not working when I arrived. I explained how upset I was with how I was spoken to and how the situation was handled. I was then threatened with not canceling my membership at all, which escalated the situation further. When I later received the email confirmation, the reason listed for cancellation (for both my husband and me) was stated as "signed up for other gyms," which is completely false. That was never said and completely dishonest, which seems to be a common theme for this gym. Additionally, when I asked Alejandro to confirm the name of the person I initially spoke with, he said it was Matthew -- which contradicts everything I had been told earlier and raises serious concerns about the accuracy and honesty of the information provided. At this point, I'm not even confident that "Kyle Campbell" is a real employee at this location. There are also numerous hidden fees involved in canceling that are not clearly disclosed when signing up. Ultimately, the service was the final straw. The gym itself is mediocre at best: it's always overcrowded, many machines are frequently broken despite paying a $69 annual "maintenance fee" (for what, I have no idea), there's only one sauna that barely gets hot and requires long wait times, and parking is consistently awful. Between the poor facilities, misleading information, and shockingly bad customer service, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
