He immediately understood what we wanted and what the project challenges were and his price was reasonable. Installation took Matt and his assistant 12 hours on a Saturday. He arrived right on time, and took great care of our house. He was polite and communicative through the whole process - even 12 hours in! The installation was definately challenging, with some tricky problems to solve, and he did a fantastic job. He took care to add some thoughtful details above what we required and cleaned up after. In one instance, they made an aesthetic choice about a very minor detail that I didn't care for, and they happily came back and tweaked it for me later, so that it was exactly how I wanted it. It proved a very nice, well designed, well furnished townhouse-style home. We were very happy with the unit. As for the 'Property Management Company' (aka Whistler Wired), they're another story. After receiving payment and collecting damage deposit in their office in Whistler village, Whistler Wired was done with us. They said thanks with a hand-shake and a 6-pack of the locally brewed Whistler Beer and sent us on our way. (NB: I recommend the Whistler Brewery beer, as it certainly left a better taste in my mouth than my experience with Wired... and no i don't work for the Brewery!) If we had any idea of how mischievous Wired was going to be regarding keeping as much of our $2000 deposit as they could, we would have certainly rented elsewhere. We acknowledge their contract reads "$1000 fine will be imposed if a noise warning is deemed valid by Wired", however their use of the word "warning" is remains abstract. I guess they get to make their own definitions. It turns out we made an unacceptable amount of noise after the 10pm curfew, as I presume would be expected when in Whistler. However, and here is where they got mischievous, rather than calling us on the phone number we provided to them, or even sending us an email to the email address that they had previously contacted us on, as to "warn" us, one of the Wired team-members simply showed up at our rental unit and proceeded to impose a $1000 fine against our deposit. Done and done. Just like that. So where was the "warning"!? Nowhere to be found. Up to you fellow google-users to believe or not, however if you (as we) get a formal phone call warning that you are violating a noise curfew, you (as we) would abide by turning down the noise level, especially when $1000 is on the line. One simple phone call could have solved the issue. But where is Wired's profit in offering a warning? Whistler Wired deliberately made the cognizant decision to avoid providing a noise warning to us as so they had grounds to fine us $1000. How do you feel about about a business that operates with such slimy tactics to fill their pockets? My advise & conclusion: If you decide to utilize Whistler Wired's property management services, prepare for them to find some dishonest way of utilizing their contract against you to maximize their profit, and maximize your loss. Will i stay with them again: NOPE!

Each week I would receive an email that listed properties for sale, recently sold or price adjusted. Dean set up a profile for us so that the listings we saw were ones that met our requirements. He also does videos that helped educate us on the various types of ownership available, the different areas and the real estate market in Whistler. In November 2012 we decided we were finally ready to come to Whistler and look at units we had identified with Dean's help. In a whirlwind afternoon, Dean was able to show us condos and quickly narrow down the list once he got a feel for what was important to us. He listened to our comments and with his knowledge of Whistler properties was able to find us several units that fit all of our needs. We made an offer that weekend and took possession of our condo in Whistler this past weekend on Dec 8! Recently stayed at The Marquise in Whistler Village for a winter trip with some family and friends…read more Nice location, the room was spacious and I really enjoyed the loft up top of the kids, really gave everyone enough space. I do also like that the flooring was concrete so we didn't have to worry about disturbing people down below. The building it self was definitely outdated/old. But the room was rennovated. Parking garage could be considered tight for anything beyond a mid sized SUV. My biggest complaint of the room itself, pretty poor lighting overall, so daytime isn't bad with all the sizeable windows but night time didn't leave much lighting at all for us. Just like all vacation rentals, pots and pans and knives are usually an amenity that is there to use, which in this case it was, but just like all other cases, it's of cheap quality and the only seasoning available was salt and pepper. Giving a list of what is there would be helpful for longer term stays so that the renters can prepare. Location was pretty solid, though everything was "walkable" about a mile any which way - i still prefer to drive. Overall a good fun trip, nice place to stay.

Our house is about 17 years old and has had the exterior painted once. The exterior, in particular, and the interior needed work. Erik worked on the interior this winter and pointed out why some areas were fine and others needed attention. The large wooden doors throughout the house and the wooden panels in one bathroom look gorgeous, and he touched up wooden steps, cabinets, etc. throughout the house. Erik and others worked magic on the exterior in August and September. The work was just superb. They pressure washed and sanded and painted and stained. But they went beyond that. They went through the old paint, etc. in the garage and tossed and found the perfect replacements. I pointed out non-paint problems I hadn't been able to solve, including stained concrete on one deck and a very slippery large stone step near the front door. James consulted stone and other experts and found solutions that were effective and artistic! They explained what they were doing and not doing and why. They added some things along the way (e.g., staining hot tub steps) without my asking and still came within the estimate. They couldn't be nicer people, and they will be checking on the house annually to see what, if anything, needs to be done. They genuinely cared about me and the house, and yes, they treated the house if it were their own. I couldn't have imagined such high quality work and such a positive experience. Thank you!
