He immediately understood what we wanted and what the project challenges were and his price was reasonable. Installation took Matt and his assistant 12 hours on a Saturday. He arrived right on time, and took great care of our house. He was polite and communicative through the whole process - even 12 hours in! The installation was definately challenging, with some tricky problems to solve, and he did a fantastic job. He took care to add some thoughtful details above what we required and cleaned up after. His build quality and attention to detail are excellent.

They consistently showed up exactly when they said they would (and if you're familiar with hiring trades people in Vancouver, you'll know that in itself is a small miracle), were super friendly, listened carefully, and most importantly, did excellent work with meticulous attention to detail. In one instance, they made an aesthetic choice about a very minor detail that I didn't care for, and they happily came back and tweaked it for me later, so that it was exactly how I wanted it. Overall, an excellent experience, and I would absolutely recommend them.

We started about a year ago by contacting Dean and asking him to put us on his weekly update that he prepares about properties in Whistler and surrounding areas. Each week I would receive an email that listed properties for sale, recently sold or price adjusted. Dean set up a profile for us so that the listings we saw were ones that met our requirements. He also does videos that helped educate us on the various types of ownership available, the different areas and the real estate market in Whistler. In November 2012 we decided we were finally ready to come to Whistler and look at units we had identified with Dean's help. In a whirlwind afternoon, Dean was able to show us condos and quickly narrow down the list once he got a feel for what was important to us. He listened to our comments and with his knowledge of Whistler properties was able to find us several units that fit all of our needs. We made an offer that weekend and took possession of our condo in Whistler this past weekend on Dec 8! It was the smoothest real estate transaction we have ever had and we are completely happy with our purchase. Dean and his staff are very professional, efficient and easy to work with and we would highly recommend him to other people looking for property in the Whistler area. Thanks Dean! Very satisfied with the prompt and friendly service provided by Wedgeview Plumbing. We were given…read morean appointment time within one day of calling. We are in Whistler and this was over the holiday season, and a regular work day! The representative who took our call was very professional and friendly and understanding of our need to confirm an appointment on one day, given the reservation system on the ski hill and us not wanting to cancel two days in a row for a 'tentative' appointment, thus we were given a guaranteed appointment time. The service representative arrived on time and was very friendly, appropriately dressed in PPE (as were we), took his boots off without us asking, and got right down to business. We had a relatively simple issue with a kitchen sink drain, which he fixed within a reasonable amount of time. We are very pleased with the professionalism, competence, and friendly service we received.

Was very unhappy with this company. Had a dripping kitchen faucet and a cracked shower/bath faucet…read more It took the plumber, 'a red seal' plumber I was told, 1.75 hrs to determine the part required for the shower, and to determine that a new kitchen faucet would be required. That is close to $200 to book me another visit, and a week's wait, to order the part for the shower faucet (I sent detailed pictures before so they could possibly have the parts on their truck) and to offer to supply a kitchen faucet with a $100 mark up ( 'I must understand they need to make something'). I was ready to pull the plug and absorb a half job at the cost of $200, but we decided to complete the job with me supplying the faucet (an instant savings of $100). They were late for the second visit. I was waiting by the front entry of our building with the large kitchen faucet box on the table in front of me. The plumber came in the building (the door was open for other construction workers on site that day). He was wearing a black jacket with no logo of his company, and a tool belt. He did not acknowledge me, so I assumed he was on the construction crews. Shortly he left the building. Then a number of minutes later, the plumbing company called, wondering why I was not there waiting for the plumber. So, he had walked in my unit, without making contact with me, replaced the shower handle and left. He just shrugged at the fact that he did not notice someone waiting right at the front door with a large kitchen faucet box, either on his way in or on his way out. He did come back and replace the faucet, but guess who pays for the all the wasted time. Hint: not them. Save yourself from the frustration. Don't call Wedgeview.
