My favorite little corner was the claw clip bar (because frankly, I can never have enough of those!). I was vaguely looking for a birthday present for a friend, and I found the absolutely PERFECT item for her. The cashier also helped me find the perfect card to match too! It is a little pricy depending what you're interested in. When we went, lots of the booths featured Christmas decorations. I fell in love with a beautiful retro Santa. He will bring magic and merriment to our home each holiday season starting next year (my husband wouldn't let me have my present early, or Santa would be proudly on display this year too lol). Everything I looked at was in good condition, especially considering how old some of the items were. I was hoping to see more vintage clothes and housewares, so I'll have to go back after the holidays to see what they put out. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be back soon I'm sure.

There was a broken doll on the floor, and one of the staff members kept following me and asked if I was the one who broke it. I told them no, but then two staff members continued following me around, demanding that I pay for it and threatening to call the police. Their behavior was very intimidating, and I ended up crying in front of them while asking them to stop treating me that way. I truly felt profiled and discriminated against during the entire situation. Afterward, I posted a Google review and tried many times to contact the manager, but my calls never resolved anything. Eventually, their lawyer contacted me and asked me to remove the review, saying they would have the staff go through training. However, that did not resolve the harm that was done, because the experience left me traumatized.

I was wearing all black with camouflage military slacks. That must of been where they started their stereo-typing, as I didn't look like I had money to spend from the LaGrange store. I walked the entire lighted footprint as I strolled past the sales desk twice. I took one more look in the area of the showroom with price tags averaging anywhere from $399 to $700 plus. My third approach near the sales desk, made me stop in my tracks with 3 sales people, one on the phone. I asked out loud to them all and asked them if they were on "commission". One lady wearing eyeglasses kinda under her breath stated "Yes". Then I stated that I was in their area of business for at least 15 minutes and NO ONE approached me or openly said Hello. As I continued past them, I said to them that I have $$$$ to spend but wasn't going to patronage them as didn't show any emotion to assisting me. I consider this a very poor approach to sales.
