Very poor barbershop experience. He first showed up late. Brought my friend and Chris did not listen to a word we said. I asked for a low taper and keep the shape of my hair and he pretty much gave me a mullet and before I knew it I was done. Whilst my friend was getting cut he was doing 400 things at the same time and it seemed cutting his hair was his last priority. He was talking to everyone else in the shop but us and after months of growing my hair I have to restart because he didn't understand what " keeping the shape" meant. read more

Thought I would give Whiskers a try. Entered the shop today at opening (10 am). There was nobody at the front desk, so I took a seat, expecting to at least be acknowledged. Three more guys came in after me. The one barber I could see (not sure if others were working) occasionally glanced into the waiting room but did not say a word (but he sure could talk up a storm with his customer). Not one of us was spoken to, so I left after almost 20 minutes. Perhaps train your barbers to at least acknowledge a customer. If that is the way you run your business, then I certainly don't want a haircut in your establishment. read more

For starters these barbers are all AMAZING PEOPLE. I've been taking my son there since they've been opened and I've never had a bad thing to say about them. My boyfriend has gone there 3 times now.. the first time he had to have been with someone new/training, he was an hour in and only finished the sides (shape up) and we had somewhere to be didn't expect it to take over an hour for a shape up and trim up top, second time came back with a different guy did a great job, rebooked with same guy and didn't listen to what was asked to get.. basically gave him a hair line he never had so his head looked uneven on one side ?? (added note..he could tell this barber was physically high). I took my son there once, and like they were so quick with him i took him home and noticed it was actually pretty choppy in some areas, if they took 10 more minutes with him it may have turned out better. ALSO... they're always so chatty with each-other rather then focusing on the services they should be providing. You walk in and nobody acknowledges you until you ask and say hey i'm here for an appointment? like ??? 0/10 customer service. read more

Don't go here. Stay way. This is MY favorite place...FIND YOUR OWN!* (I'm kidding.) This is my favorite place to get a haircut because of the community atmosphere. Don't get me wrong, this is a great place to get an awesome haircut or beard trim/shave. But you get way more than a haircut. You make instant friendships and these guys invest in you. I went in knowing no one and I was a little intimidated by the whole barber shop atmosphere because I thought there might be some cold, "super-manly," macho vibe. Instead, everyone was more than kind and welcoming. In fact, it was really nice to be around a group of other guys. I used to be annoyed by the fact that I had to get my haircut once every 4-6 weeks. Now I go to this place once a week because...it's FUN and I leave looking good AND feeling good about myself. * So I changed my mind. I guess you can come to my barbershop. Jordan gave me the most meticulous haircut I've ever had in all my 49 years. I've got long hair with an undercut and I was just there to get the undercut shaved real quick, but he did me like I was getting married or something. Seriously. He even straightened up the lines on my cheeks where my beard starts and faded the sides into my beard. Outstanding work! read more

Fantastic and trendy barbershop. Tried this place for the first time a couple of days ago on a whim. All I did was show Gio an picture(example) of what I wanted. He more than delivered, producing one of the best cuts I have ever received. They were bumping some good music in the background as well so if you want complete quiet, maybe go to Anthony's instead. In my opinion, Whiskers is the best in the area. The environment is incredibly friendly and relatively trendy, and the cuts are QUALITY. Emphasis on quality because they know what they're doing here. Gio honestly could not have given me a better haircut. Will be back no question. read more

This place a rip off! If I could give them a negative rating I would! Boyfriend needed to find a barber cuz ours is sick and this place decided to charge an extra $5 just for making an appointment. You ever hear of that? I haven't! You would think that they would want appointments to better manage the schedule. The flyer that came in the value pack in the mail specifically says appointments recommended! And now I know it's so they can just charge extra money. This review comes after going to both Whiskers locations on three separate occasions. At first we were recommended to go here and the raving reviews immediately made us make an appointment. Upon the first appointment, the experience was okay. Now granted there is barbershop convos and whatnot but the overly elevated yelling over basketball teams was a deterrent. Then the fade that was received was subpar and uneven. Yet we gave it another go except this time it was worse. Upon the second appointment, the barber giving me the haircut was continuously asked for help by the barber next to them taking away from my experience. So we switched to the Sinking Spring location for a third try. We arrived 30 minutes early (due to distance from our home) and promptly at 9am (for our appointment at 9am) we went in only not to be greeted by anyone and for our barber not to be there. We gave him the benefit of the doubt and allowed him 30 minutes to show up. Again we sat there just listening to rowdy conversations about nothing that needed to get that loud or that were that serious. But what really threw me was there was a child there with a barber at work!! This child looked no older than 2!!!!! Thats when we knew that this was not going to work. So we cancelled our appointment and went back home with no hair cut. Now again I would like to emphasize that I understand that there's always going to be barbershop convos but to the point where you have to yell and scream to make your point is not needed. read more

If I could give the Exeter location zero stars I would. This is my second time and Rony was my barber. When I placed my appointment I was told one price and after the cut I was charged more. Not only was I up charged but I received the worst haircut I have ever gotten. The fade is choppy and uneven. I asked for a little off the top and he cut the majority of my hair off while also making it extremely uneven. Rony did not even get close to what I asked for. read more

After moving to the area from Philadelphia I was looking for a place to get a decent cut. I didn't want to go to a chain or salon. I had a friend mention this shop so I gave it a try. Needless to say I will not go anywhere else to get my hair cut anymore. These guys are great. All of them are very easy to talk to and the atmosphere is right on point. One key thing about this shop is you can schedule your appointment very far ahead and scheduling is SO easy through their website. I've scheduled with Tai for almost 3 years now. Don't go here if you want anything other than a buzz. I asked to keep a lot of my hair, and they just shaved it off anyway, after being told multiple times to keep it longer. My barber Josh, didn't even have me face a mirror so I could see what he was doing. I now have to spend weeks waiting for it to grow back to where I wanted, waste of time. I went for a year without a haircut or shave. I was like an abandoned lot. Looking for the right groundskeeper. Most times I had my hair and beard trimmed up I left the barber looking like a bonehead. I searched around and being from the sticks of northern Lebanon county I came across your business with Google search. I thought hey why not. I gotta do something. The Cats are nesting in my hair and my side burns are whipping me in the eyes. I booked an appointment the easiest way possible via the Facebook page and in an hour I was there and getting Jimmy G to cut growth. I was very happy. I left with a sense on dignity and IMHO my hair and beard looked great. I am on the north side of 50 so I don't need or want any hipster cuts. Just the good old look good haircut and full beard trim. A1, A+ service and the Lady at the door was very nice and cordial. Even though the day I was there Black Friday she was freezing her buns off. Thank you. I called and asked if I could make an appointment. They said I can walk in. I go there and one individual said they could take me. The individual starts cutting my hair and when he was about 70% done, tells me that they are a student. Not only did they cut me up bad, but they did not tell me they were a student before they started cutting my hair. If I knew, I would not have had my hair cut by them. Once they were done cutting my hair, I examined it, and it was not even, nor blended. One side they cut way too high up, and the other side was not as short as the other side in length of hair. I asked them if they could fix it, and they said they would, once they cut the next person's hair. Once they finished cutting the other person's hair, they said they would cut my hair next time. I had to walk out of whisker's barber with the dumbest haircut ever. The haircut was so dumb, I had to spend more money to get another haircut at another barbershop, to fix the mistake the student barber at whisker's barber made, so inconveniently the next day, because of how dumb the haircut was. It was just so dumb of a haircut. Whisker's barber really needs to notify clients about students cutting beforehand. read more
