In the end, she ordered an MRI. But my insurance kept denying it. I waited 2 months only to find out she had coded it all wrong. Completely opposite diagnosis than what I had. When I messaged her to change it, there was no response. This delay of care is frustrating to say the least

Until I got to my Medicare birthday I saw Larry Tyndall's partner, Robert Feuer, for regular…read morecounseling, and was very happy with him. Unfortunately, Bob only has a Master's degree in counseling, and that's not enough for Medicare! So I had to switch to his partner Larry, who has a Ph.D. and is able to be a Medicare provider. I've been very satisfied since making the switch, even though I was unhappy about having to do that just to satisfy a bureaucratic requirement! Larry, like Bob, is a very good listener and a caring provider. In addition to general individual therapy, Larry does relationship counseling, works with people who suffered sexual abuse as children or adolescents or are experiencing PTSD, and helps people with coming out issues. He has extensive clinical experience, as well. Visit his website for a complete C.V. If you find yourself needing counseling, I think you'll be very satisfied with Larry (or Bob). If your needs don't jibe with their expertise he can certainly evaluate you and recommend other therapists who might be better suited for your needs. So you really can't lose by consulting him! I can highly recommend both Larry and Bob!

Best chiropractor I've been to!…read more I came in after a week and a half of pain in my mid back and ribs. It was affecting my movements and my breathing. I did a google search to find a walk-in chiropractor, as I was needing some immediate attention. I walked into the office which was nice and clean. Dr Bailey greeted me immediately and took me right on back. He asked me a few questions, and was very nice and professional. Within a couple minutes he was already adjusting my back. I immediately began to feel relief. He left me with recommendations on how to care for my back over the next couple days. He didn't try to start me on any treatment plans, but encouraged me to come back when I felt the need to, before it became too painful. I hadn't found a chiropractor who didn't want a long evaluation with x rays, etc. I needed a place I could get in when I really need to. I think I've found that place now, and I will definitely be recommending it to my family and friends!

So talking about mental healthcare isn't always easy. BUT it's a lot easier at Mokscare. They offer…read morea range of services like psych evaluations, medication management, therapy, and more. I found Mokscare during a time in which I was struggling in many areas. It just seemed like a lot was converging on my life, and I needed an outlet to manage mental and emotional issues. I found a primary provider with whom I have been seeing for more than one year now. While the journey was not always easy, I could not be happier with how it has progressed. Therapy takes WORK and I am now at the point where I am seeing my therapist once a month on account of the progress that I have made. I was also able to get connected with a psychiatric provider who could prescribe medication. Sure, that's just another step, but over the past year my medication management has improved significantly. That could only happen with a great provider in a facility that offers great services. I'm now having meds 'de-prescribed', which is cool for both me and my provider. Why would I tell you all of this, you say? Because if my story reaches one person who is in need of help and they are able to find an outlet, then that's what really matters. Mental health can be taboo to share, but guess what, kids? We ALL have problems and we ALL could use a healthy outlet. Mokscare can give you just that, allowing for flexible scheduling, handling through most insurance carriers, and providing a safe, comfortable environment in which to open up. I really hope you don't need Mokscare. But if you want help, then the providers here are wonderful and I hope you find the outlet you might need.
