After experiencing pain in my lower back for several months an associate had recommended I go to Bailey chiropractic to help alleviate my pain. "Dr." Bailey offered me free x-rays at Cleveland chiropractic, his other part time job. After reviewing my x-rays, Dr. Bailey claimed to have discovered the source of my back pain and that with 40 treatments and $2,000 I could be cured. At the end of the 40 treatments, my pain had become more and more intense. He claimed that my pain was now because of a "muscle problem." Gee... sure would have been nice to know that in the beginning. I guess that's what they teach you to say in quack school when the treatment you provide doesn't work. After leaving Bailey Chiropractic, the pain has gotten so severe I can barely walk. After going to a real Dr. I discovered that the source of my pain is actually a major herniated disc and that the treatment Dr. Bailey provided actually made my problem even worse. When I told Bailey about how I can barely walk, his misdiagnosis of my problem and that his treatment actually made the problem worse, all he could say was that it was "unfortunate." No apology, nothing. But he didn't have any problem taking my $2,000. Dr. Bailey is simply an ignorant quack. In some of my other communications with him, his ignorance became ever more obvious. It greatly concerns me that someone who works on such an important part of the body spells timely as "timly" or apologize as "appologise" or referral as "refferal" and doesn't know the difference between affect and effect. As far as I'm concerned, if you can't spell you don't deserve the title of Dr. and you certainly don't deserve to be treating something as serious as back pain. If your are in need of chiropractic care - run from Bailey chiropractic. If you can't run, then hobble. If you can't run or hobble, then crawl. Bottom line: Nathan Bailey has no idea what he is doing. I've filed a complaint against him with the ks board of healing arts for gross misdiagnosis and for being a total retard. read more
