Five stars to Skincrafters!…read more Best place in town for a facial and/or waxing! Christy is the best esthetician in Bloomington. She is meticulous, knowledgeable, professional and loves her work. I have seen her for years and never had a bad experience. I will never go to another esthetician in Bloomington while Christy is here. The decor was clean and simple. Location is close to the downtown/campus area. Plenty of parking is available. This is nice since parking close to campus and/or downtown area can be challenging. Overall, Skincrafters is 5 stars! He didn't miss! Jomar was wonderful. Son had scheduled for Swedish massage but I needed a firmer touch. Jomar graciously accommodated the change and provided the best massage I've had! He was very mindful of getting in tune with what I needed. There was no need for me to give him instruction after my initial request - he just worked his magic! I scheduled again with Jomar this week. He did not disappoint!! Deep tissue this time was perfect. I was feeling a little under the weather before my appointment, so I called to make sure it was OK if I still came in. I was encouraged to still come in since I wasn't contagious. Best decision! Jomar is the best!

(This makes me feel all sorts of feelings! Why can't things stay the same and continue forever and ever?) However, nothing is forever, darling. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. Indy Massage Company is one of my favorite places in Indy, and I continue to love visiting this place when I can.

No questions about service or updates on the wait. Nuthin. The place was not very tidy and the ladies were extremely slow. They clearly do more eyelashes than eyebrows here. Cleanliness is questionable. No gloves or handwashing was observed. But, I never saw them thread anyone either so, maybe it happens and I just didn't witness it. Definitely not my kinda spot, but it may be perfect for you. I won't be returning.

Thank you to everyone who has reviewed this wonderful biz! I was headed on vacation and didn't want…read moreto tempt myself to be in the sun at all. I thought that if I got some color beforehand, I could be full #TeamSunscreen during the entire trip. I had never gotten a spray tan before and I was nervous to do it because let's be honest, we've all seen spray tans go wrong. I read sooooo many reviews and ended up choosing this biz! Bronze2U uses "solutions that are natural and organically infused with Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Vitamins A, E & C. They're FDA certified Vegan, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, and there's NO animal testing involved." Impressive! Other (cheaper) locations use an ingredient that can make you orange, but not here. The natural ingredients also didn't break my sensitive skin out at all either. The owner Bree brings a pop-up tent and spray tan machine with her, directly to your home. She quickly sets up in a few minutes and has you strip down to whatever you feel comfortable in. She put lotion on the parts that tend to keep extra color: elbows, knees, toes, etc. She then did the whole spray tan in under five minutes. She then puts powder on you to keep it on and you're instructed to wear baggy clothes while you wait. The tan didn't wash off on anything though - I'm impressed! You can choose to get the medium tan, which is the cheaper option and has you waiting six hours before showering. There is also the quick tan option which is more expensive, but let's you shower in only an hour or two (you choose when to shower based on how dark you want it to be). I did the medium tan, waited six hours, rinsed off, and was impressed by the natural color I had. It looks so natural and glowy. Sooooo good! Bree is also is an esthetician and has a location downtown in the XG Groom Room, where she will also start doing spray tans soon too. I'll definitely be doing this again!
