You definitely need to come here on a day when you have a lot of time to waste. I spent over an hour looking through clothes and left with 3 items all for $6! That to me was definitely worth it. The pair of pants I got were 75% off that day so they ended up being $1.50! Unheard of. It is similar to a Goodwill but much better prices. The only thing that stinks is that they don't put clothes in order by size. They are just color coded so you have to go through all the racks to find your size. However, they do carry everything under the sun. From clothes to shoes, furniture, home décor, accessories, jewelry. They have it ALL. A lot of their stuff can be junk but if you take the time to look through it you can find some amazing stuff. An awesome thrift store worth checking out!

They had a free store on Haight Street where soldiers on leave could walk in looking like a soldier and walk out looking like a hippie, then they would probably go AWOL and ditch Vietnam. Nowadays it's a great way to curb the awful waste of our culture through re-use. As the website says, you need to swipe your card to get into the building.
