They have an amazing selection of trains, including all different gauges, also miniature buildings, animals, people and everything else for your trains set. We didn't have an opportunity to stay too long so I'll be back to take a more in depth look in the near future. The staff are very helpful and super knowledgeable so come with questions and leave with answers. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound. The trains were not moving while we were there and they were kind of busy in the lead up to Christmas so we didn't ask to have them running, but I'm sure they would have turned them on if we had asked.

They were super friendly and kind as usual, also very helpful to my son who is learning about coins for a project and had a lot of questions. I noticed they take silver plated items as well, and I have an antique pitcher that broke that is either pure silver or plated that I need to scrap. Also I have a set of very old silver (or plated, need to check) flatware that's doing nothing in my buffet drawer so I'll be back with more! Last time I was in (a few years ago when I replaced my engagement ring band) Frank was very honest with me that precious metal prices were down and to wait, as I did, and it paid off today! They look out for you here. Great experience as usual!

I met Frank, a seasoned expert with over 60 years of experience in handling coins, and I was impressed by his vast knowledge. As someone who has bought coins from this store before, I was excited to sell my coins and silver bars, not because of economic uncertainty, but due to an unexpected health challenge that required extra financial support. Frank offered me a remarkably fair price for my coins, and I was heartened to see many others in the store buying and selling with confidence. Frank's professionalism and expertise shone through in our transaction, and I highly recommend Coins and Currency to anyone looking to buy or sell coins. I'm already looking forward to investing in silver again and returning to the store to make more purchases.

I am updating my review to a 4/5 because even though they did turn my experience around, it doesn't erase the fact that I had a bad experience that resulted in damage to my property. Brought my under a year old Powerspec PC for service because the RGB strip in the case stopped working. My warranty claim was denied because the LED component that failed on the PC is considered "cosmetic" damage and is not covered despite the fact multiple techs have stated that the standard repair procedure was to just replace the case, not to mention I was sold the protection plan under the pretense that it covers anything that can happen to your PC. I checked in my PC at around 11AM and got a text notifying me of this resolution at around 6PM. They did replace my CPU cooler which was suffering from rattling, though they also damaged the backplate on my 5090 while doing so.

When I challenged him one where he got that quote cause was way off and felt like a insult to me. He stated that's the "book value". Hahaha. Another thing is he had all the cards in piles under locked case where you can only look at the top card. How does he expect to sell the cards if we cant see them. I asked to look and he opened up with hesitation. Then had a awkward moment while he watched me right next to case looking with me in every single card in one pile. So odd I refrained from looking more. The quoted card came from this moment and was stored raw without even a penny sleeve. So he has a $120 card raw in a pile in a locked case. What a joke. Michaels, in my experience, is hands-down better than Jo-Ann's & ACMoore. I do not shop at Michaels…read morefrequently because their competitors are closer to me, and there are more locations for competitor stores, so they're always available when I'm out and about, as well. But when I do get to visit a Michaels I stock up on things I need that I simply can't get elsewhere. For example, this time I needed RIT Dyemore, which is their non-cotton/synthetics specialty dye. Everywhere else carries the normal RIT line, but not this one. Jo-Ann's had it at SOME stores, ACMoore just didn't have it. But of course, Michaels had it. Michaels also had essential oil diffusers, and wall plug-ins, which were three times the price at competitor stores, and nowhere near the variety of options. Michaels also carries more colors/styles of items like spraypaints, jewelry wire, yarn, etc. and they seem to have things in stock a lot more reliably than competitors. I got a ridiculous deal on blank stationery a few years ago. It was 70% off online. I print cards for a local charity, so I went nuts stocking up. I ordered so much, I cleaned them out, and got a cancellation notice for some of the stock. I called the KoP store, and the manager honored the online sale for me for the remainder of the items, even though it was not similarly-priced in store. The stationery is pretty decent quality, and I am able to raise a lot more money for charity when my out-of-pocket cost is as low as it was at Michaels. * * * TIP * * * They accept competitor coupons! (This is nice because Jo-Ann's and ACMoore have been issuing 50%, 55% , 60%, and more rarely, 70% off coupons, lately, while Micheals normally is just 40% off.) * * * TIP * * * They offer military discount (but do not combine it with coupons).
