However we saw an add For "The Beach Wheelchair Company" we were in shock... I called and rented the beach wheelchair immediately and thankfully we were able to get her on the sand, under the tent, and wheeled her around even taking her to the waters edge. The best part was it was so very easy to rent and they were able to accommodate us last minute. Fernando was so helpful and his drivers are great professionals who did an amazing job explaining how to use the chair. I will be eternally grateful to the entire staff that made this trip possible and so memorable for the entire family..!!! Maria and Fernando delivered us a beach wheelchair to the hotel we were staying at and we got to go to the beach as a family. Our 14-year-old daughter has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair, and without this company we would not have any opportunity to show her the ocean and let her join us on the beach. I wish every hotel would know about this opportunity to share with their guests, because it is a life changer. From the initial inquiry, to the delivery and demonstration, to the pick up at a different location - every step was handled so professionally and kindly. They were so understanding and patient with us as we traveled from Miami to the Keys, and back, allowing us to try lots of different beaches. I was not only disappointed, but completely taken back on 1) how rude the customer service people are; 2) their inability to "listen" to what you are saying and 3) their total indignation with me because I am returning their product. First of all, the scooter weighs approximately 70 pounds when it is all put together. It breaks down into two pieces each weighing around 35 pounds. I don't know about anyone else out there, but I am a 75 year old woman and handicapped at that . . . .can you imagine my astonishment as to how much the scooter really weighed and how was I going to navigate getting this into my SUV by myself??? Well, it's not really surprising that I have to return the scooter. It's way to heavy for me to even think about lifting. So, I called customer service to get the ball rolling to return the scooter, only to find out that the finance company that I financed the scooter from charges a whopping 20% restocking fee. That's approximately $840 for me to still have to pay out, with nothing to show for it. The gentleman that "graciously helped" me said . . . ."to bad for you, we've already got our money, so deal with the finance company". Folks, before you buy from these disreputable people, read the fine print and, if you can, stay away from the finance company "Bread Pay".

I went to Aldo Surgical Supply to get a bedside toilet seat for my grandmother that's 87 years old…read more At first I wasn't sure where to go or where I would be able to find a bedside toilet seat so fast, but I'm glad I went to Aldo surgical Supply in Hialeah. When I first walked in I was greeted by one of the staff members, I think her name was Lesly if I'm not mistaken. She was very nice and we even tried the toilet seats, to see which one was the best fit. She was very thorough with the explanation and answered any questions I had. Definitely recommend Aldo Surgical Supply and if you're there I recommend you ask for Lesly. 5 stars!
