I saw a couple reviews saying that they had a really good experience with Wheel Repair Performance repairing Volks so I took my TE-37s Ultra M-spec here and from my experience they were not wrong. I got to speak with Sal during drop off. He took a look at the wheel and said that while the damaged looked rough, they would be able to make it look "pretty" good. He was straight forward on what they could and couldn't do in terms of reshaping the lip and matching the paint. This was an understatement, when I came to pick up the wheels, I could not even tell where the original damage was. These guys worked magic. I did end up finding some spots that had some minor paint pooling when drying but they were quick to schedule a follow up for touchups. I got to speak with Francisco for a bit as well and he was also great to work with. After reading a lot of Yelp reviews, I decided to bring my 2026 Tesla Model Y to Wheel Repair Performance after putting some pretty nasty curb rash on the driver's side rear wheel. This wasn't just a small scrape. There were deep gouges covering about half of the wheel. The whole process was easy. I requested a quote through Yelp, texted them to schedule a time, and they were able to get me in the very next day. I dropped the car off around 11:00 AM and got a text around 4:00 PM that it was ready. Same-day turnaround was a huge selling point for me. The repair itself was outstanding. I'm pretty obsessive about my cars, so when I got home I grabbed a flashlight and inspected the wheel from every angle. I honestly couldn't find any sign that it had ever been damaged. The finish, texture, and color all matched the other three wheels perfectly. If someone asked me which wheel had been repaired, I wouldn't be able to tell them. The people in the office were friendly, straightforward, and professional. They honored the quote they gave me over Yelp with no surprises or last-minute add-ons, which I always appreciate. It's also nice to have a shop I trust now. Before this, curb rash felt like one of those expensive mistakes that was going to bother me every time I looked at the car. Now I know exactly where I'll be taking it if it ever happens again. A couple things that may be helpful for future customers: 1) Pull into the gated parking lot when you arrive. The office entrance is immediately on the right once you walk into the shop. 2) For Tesla owners, I noticed they lifted my Model Y without using Tesla-specific jack pucks. Instead, they used a flat floor jack and standard jack stands. I inspected the underside of the car afterward and didn't find any damage, so they clearly know where to lift the car and took care doing it. If you're OCD and treat your car more like a child than a vehicle, be sure to bring your own and ask the shop to use them, but know that the outcome will be the same either way. Another annual review update and we're in the middle of the previous two reviews at four stars now which is where I think the correct rating is for the value of the overall service at this time. There's just not that many other alternative shops in the South Bay that have the infrastructure and staff to offer heavy repairs and powder coating. My wheels got torn up over the years from all the curbs, pot holes and roadwork. Called Sal and came by for a quote from Luis a few weeks ago. Luis took a look at my wheels and suggested I choose a powder coat color from Prismatic Powders. Couldn't guarantee me a price, but gave a pretty accurate ballpark. I chose the Porsche Silver and texted that over to Sal who placed an order for me. Brought my car in again last Friday morning when the powder shipped to the shop and handed my keys over to Itzel who wrote me a receipt. She said that they'll get a quote to me over the phone once the wheels get dismounted and inspected by the tech which should take a few hours. Didn't hear back after 3 hours so I called in a few times and finally got an answer at the end of day with an estimated pickup time of next day at around noon. I called before coming to confirm completion and they ended up mixing up my car with another car so it actually wasn't ready. They apologized and were kind enough to call me a Lyft home. Again, called in every few hours to check in on the car because I didn't receive updates. Ended up being ready after end of business day, but I was still able to pick it up. Wheels looked great! Better than the first time I visited here to get my wheels repaired. Price is moderate, but fair given their position in the market. Varies depending on the damage evaluated by the tech after they dismount and strip your wheels. Small discount if paying by cash. Overall, I'm back to being a customer after giving this place another chance. Friendly staff all around. They're very busy and seemingly short-staffed so that's what probably led to the weird timing, mixups, and communication issues. I get OCD with my car and knew something was off due to vibration of the steering wheel last night, so I gave Sal a call before he opened to see if I can drop it off. Him and the team were so accommodating and checked the wheels for me, identifying that my rim was indeed bent in the front left. They repaired it within a few hours and also confirmed that my wheel alignment is off due to uneven wear, balancing my wheel in the short term to minimize vibrations while driving. Hit a pothole on Wednesday night. Got a flat tire and the wheel is bent. Done some search online on what wheel shop is good and come across Wheel Repair Performance. Called in and able to make same day appointment. Went to diagnose and found out two left wheels have different degree of bent. Inspection is 25 dollars per wheel, and if the tire gets repaired it's waived. Sal the owner patiently explained to me what's wrong and said that it can be fixed within few hours, which is super fast compared to other stores which I called needing at least 24 hrs. I dropped off the car late afternoon and am able to pick up the car the next morning. The price is also really good value with fixing two wheels. Accidentally curbed my M2 pulling out of a Lucky's.. was pissed AF at myself! Brought my car here to have em repair the curb rash. Price was reasonable and the finish came out great. I can't tell that there was ever any damage. There was a slight miscommunication with one of the workers as on the estimate they wrote black wheels but they're more of a two tone gray and black.
