No questions went unanswered. Always took the time to explain things, and what was on the agenda for the next day. He had suggestions for several things that we had not considered. They were very professional, extremely clean, polite, courteous and friendly. I can't say any more from the excellent service provided by Chris and his team. The finished product was comparable to night and day. The job did go over the original estimate of 2 days a little, but quite understandable, as there was a couple of hidden issues behind the walls that surprised us and them, and I did ask for a couple of extra's do be completed if there was time...i.e. crown moulding. The whole finished product was completed with just a 1/2 day extra, and we did not have any problem with that. Darcy, our installer kept us appraised of all stages of the job, so there were no surprises. As for the extra jobs requested, they were all completed to my satisfaction. We were very happy that they were able to complete that part of the reno. As for the cost, the whole price came out as per original estimate, except for the addition of my extra's request. It is interesting to note that my cost estimate from Beautiful baths came out ahead of another competitor, who was only going to provided a new bath tub and shower. But there are other brands in the store - KitchenAid, Cuisinart, Henckels knives and my personal favorite Le Creuset - a very high end, ie expensive brand of enamel cast iron cook and bakeware. True you can find some of these in many stores, and sometimes even cheaper than at Paderno. But nowhere will you find the selection. From gadgets to huge stockpots, from bamboo cutting boards to espresso machines...you have to come and see for yourself.

I am fixing and adjusting the drawers and slideouts monthly, with some having become completely unusable. I have had MCK in to repair but then a few days or week later, broken again. We have been what I would consider light users of our kitchen and take good care of it. The wood scuffs very easily and where we got a cream colored finish, it is looking very dumpy very quickly. I would never recommend MCK based solely on the very poor quality product they deliver.

They've been replace 3 times, yes you read that right 3 times and there are still 4 doors that STILL need to be replaced. The first time they replaced our doors 2 of them were not even the same finish, the third time 3 doors had 'soft' paint that felt like rubber and marked easily as well as full of picks and small pin holes in the paint. When our quartz countertop was installed it had 2 noticeable chips. The chips were fixed to our satisfaction but we are extremely disappointed with the terrible quality of our cupboard doors.....4th time is the charm??? We hope so.
