I discovered this small oasis through Groupon! It's located…read moreright next to Rexall and when you enter it's a very chill, basic, but intimate, and cozy atmosphere with an approximately 10 yoga mats capacity. So don't expect a lot of people there. The entrance has a curtain and there's a small bathroom at the end. I had my first session with Naomi and she rocks! She was very welcoming and even though her pilates moves were quite challenging, she was doing her best at making the experience more pleasant for me.

This place is not for everyone. If you're used to yyoga or similar fancy schmancy yoga…read moreestablishments, you will be shocked by how simple this "studio" is. And by studio, I mean a room in the mall - literally (it's located in Royal Centre). There is no waiting area, no showers, no windows, no spacious change room, no wall-to-wall ceiling-to-floor mirror... yes, this is as simple as it gets. But it also doesn't cost $15 a class! Believe me - I've searched far and wide, and this studio has the best price in the city.* $6/class** And once or twice a year they have a 2-for-1 sale so I'm currently paying only $3/class!*** Because this is located near the Bentall towers, in the core of the financial district, their targeted clienteles are (busy? lazy?) people like me - squeezing an hour of relaxation during a hectic work day. Their schedule reflects this - most of the classes are during lunch hours and some right after work (none on weekends). Ok, so sometimes in the midst of child pose I can faintly hear people walking or talking in the mall outside, but for the price and convenience of their schedule and location, I will keep coming back during my lunch breaks. * not counting pay-what-you-can classes ** classes are 50-60 minutes *** please tell me if you do find something cheaper in DT
