The menu was bigger than I was expecting so you have a lot of choices. I tried the Monday special which was the Chicken Fried Chicken with two sides. I had fresh veggies and coleslaw. The lunch special was good. The Chicken Fried Chicken was huge and I could only eat half. Everything had good flavor but my veggies were cold. That was the only downer to the visit. So, when they were at my Annex today, I decided to give them a try. Although there are a ton of options to add, I went with my go-to... classic burger dry, with tomatoes and pickles. Guys, this burger was perfection. Juicy and savory and just right. And enough for me to cut in half and save the second for supper tonight (although I really wanted to eat the whole thing right then and there!) The meal also came with fries that had a Cajun blend spice. I am from Louisiana, so this is always a majordomo test. I'm not sure which blend they created, but it is spot on fabulous. And as an added bonus, the incredibly friendly lady (I'm sad I didn't ask her name) asked if I had ever tried their avocado ranch. I had not, so she handed me some of their homemade goodness and told me to dip my fries in that. AMAZING!! And corrected me from my misguided notion that all Ranch dressings are the same.
