We live in Porter TX. We don't go to this whataburger anymore. They are almost entirely focused on the drive thru. If you walk in to order...expect to stand there while staff glance at you but keep doing something else. It feels as if it is a bother attending you. Had an issue with my order, had to go inside and speak to the manager. Even though I was a bit bothered she (Diane) remained pleasant and calm which helped me remain calm resulting in her positive attitude deescalating the situation. We were able to communicate and resolve the issue. Diane deserves recognition for her professionalism and commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Bad handling manager. Drive through girl didn't listen good cause some noice on her ear then I asked someone else young manager coming to window with angry face and full attitude mode lol I just make sure my order was right. Returning back home my husband and I decided to get fast food! Not fast at all!!! it took 30 minutes to get hamburgers, our order had vanishes out of the blue! Not only was the customer service poor but no one offered a solution. The manager made the situation even worse when I told them all customers after us were gone and all the cars in the driveway gone too!! He never apologized of any wrong doing, just a "we were busy " I made sure to tell them in Spanish & English how disappointed I was. The night manager at the Porter, TX Whataburger is VERY rude. My family had already ordered food and was sitting BEFORE the lobby closed. I was halfway done with my burger when she came up to the table and said for us to pack up our food and finish it in the car because the lobby was now closed. NEVER have I been kicked out of a restaurant if you purchased your food BEFORE the lobby closed. At least let your customer finish eating. She wouldn't even let my kids get refills before we left. If she didn't want people eating in the lobby at exactly 11:00pm, then she should have told her employees to serve "to go" orders only instead of serving at the tables. This is absolutely unacceptable and UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

I am very disappointed in the Drive through. Stopped by to grab something for my son and drinks for my wife and I. Had to wait where you give your order even though no one else was around....had to say "Hello" to get a response. The lady taking my order did so with no issues including reading it back to me correctly. The issue came as we wait for close to 5 min before they brought drinks out....which were not what was ordered. Another 3 min and the drinks came out but no hamburger. 4 min later the hamburger shows up and we are glad to be leaving....only to get home and the bag didn't have fries....I bought a meal and confirmed with the lady taking the order that I wanted a large fry and large drink with that hamburger meal.... Now that I'm home...I dont want to go back out... Now since we were sitting there as long as we were...we also noticed other cars parked beside and just in front of us dealing with the same kind of thing....the servers having to go back inside to get things correct or something they forgot. Whom ever you have putting the Drive through orders together....tell them to read the ticket and put everything in the bag for that order....its written there in black and white.... read more

Stopped here on the way home from a trip and I was surprised by the friendly staff. Food came out quick and was delicious

Service was definitely not the best. Ordered to go but decided to stay. Order was ready and they let it just sit there saying nothing. She rang us up giving us an extra dollar back. My husband was just looking at the numbers as she sanitized them and she became rude to him so I just continued to let her give me the undue change. Then when asking for a dipping sauce she was unaware of how to ring it up, so i walked up the see what was going on. Clean restaurant and dismissive staff. The girls that work at this location are extremely rude. My mother and I could not understand them and they made fun of us. Even gathering at the window to gawk at us. It was bizarre. They were too quiet and we could not hear them or make out what they were saying. That's rude to make fun of someone who needs you to speak up and enunciate. The service from the management team is excellent! I believe the manager's is Karla that took my order. She walked every table to ask how we were doing and she also offered to refill our drinks.
