just waited in line for a long time just for my sauce to be missing, along with the toast that's supposed to come with the tenders. and my burger was a mess. IT CAME WITH A CHUNK OF LETTUCE. just a random single chunk. I also asked for 2 strips of bacon but that was missing too. sweet tea tasted watered down as well. honestly, the location could've been a little better. i understand people are excited to try this new place out, especially if it's something like whataburger, but the location just made it difficult to even get in the line. at least they provided spicy ketchup... read more

The last 3 times I've come here for breakfast, each time on Sunday, it takes FOREVER to get my food. First time I just left after waiting over 20 min. Second time took around 20 min, today took 30 min. What ever happened to fast food? Funny how everything changed once corporate got out of town after the first few weeks of this location opening. read more

Able to watch my children grow up and have children of their own while waiting for three burgers. Insanely inept. Typical Memphis.

This place is consistent in their effort to disappoint Me. Whether the dining room is full or not, I always have to wait a long time for the food to be prepared and finally delivered to the table. I expect to wait when the lobby or drive through lines are long but to wait when the place is almost empty is unconscionable. Unless I have an hour to spare for slow food from a fast food restaurant, I would skip the burger. read more

When this location opened up the service was superb. Now it takes forever to get food. I got to the drive thru speaker at 10:21pm and I finally got food at 11:08. I just don't understand!!! There were only 3 cars in front of me as I placed my order. The only good thing is when we got the food the burgers were correct(picky about toppings) but the fries were cold. Things better change or we will lose this location. Hardee's went through the same thing a couple of years ago and now most of them have shut down!! read more

Food was just ok but I was there at 11:10AM and waited in line 30 minutes. There is no way mediocre food and lousy service will stay in business long. Needless to say the food won't make me want to tolerate the service. Customer lost. read more

Extremely slow service multiple items out of stock. This is not the Whataburger I remember. Shake machine down just like McDonald's.

Worst service ever! It literally took 48 minutes to go through the drive through and order chicken nuggets and fries. And there where only 4 cars in line. Then when I finally got my food, my fries they were cold. Smh . Bad service read more

Slow. SLOW. SLOW. Overpriced, overhyped, and ridiculous. Don't go here unless you are planning to wait 1-2hrs in line. read more

Over rated and over hyped is the most positive comment I can offer about my Whataburger experience. First, if you go through the drive-thru, use the inner lane. I made the mistake of ordering at the outer land, and watch 5 inner lane orders, all placed their orders after me, were fulfilled in short order. It took about 25 minutes before I got my food. My second disappoint was the taste and quality of the food. The meat was very salty, fries tough and cold and the soda was watered down. read more

I love whataburger, double meat with mustard, lettuce, pickles & onions. Dip in catsup with a side of fries & unsweetened iced tea. SO Much better than McD's!!! read more

You're better off going inside if you can the wait is long but worth it. I know you're supposed to race about it the burger but the chicken sandwich is so damn good I can't stop eating it even when I'm full. The burger is very good as well. The Dr Pepper shake to die for read more

Gross. Bad Attitude. Food was cold. Horrible shake. Lid wasn't secure. Shake spilled in car. Burger was gross. Long lines for cold food. Fries soggy and cold. WhatADisappointment! read more

can't even get a chocolate shake here. been trying for nearly a month. And the one chocolate shake they did get us was just vanilla with a chocolate squirt in it. Didn't change the flavor at all. And the worst part is that is they already charged us for the shakes then told us they were out. No refunds by the way. Fries we're old and reheated. Just crappy over all. read more

The food here is ok. The service and efficiencies of the restaurant are horrible. The staff does not seem to communicate to the customers nor do they seem to be concerned how long you wait. I've been here twice and will probably not go back for a long time. The first time, I waited in the drive through for over 40 minutes before asking the cars in front of me to pull up so I could leave. The line was only 14-15 cars deep when I pulled up. The second time I placed an online order and put the time 15 minutes earlier than I planned to arrive. I got there and it was not ready. When they prepared my order, they had to redo it as they did not get it right and I had been waiting 15 minutes which is 30 minutes past the time I requested for the order to be ready. The restaurant needs some serious training for all the employees if it wants to sustain a loyal customer base. The food is just not that overwhelmingly good where customers will wait for 35 minutes for an average fast food burger. read more

the Cordova lunch is great. as a senior, my appetite is very well served by the kids meal. for $5.49 I get a burger, fries, drink and cookie.I have never had to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes. I find the staff friendly and competent. read more

they need a zero star button because this is the worst fucking service i have ever experienced at any time in my entire life. we sat in the drive thru for 50 minutes and 20 of those were at the first in line spot. then we finally decide to leave the line because this is a fucking waste of time and we see the car that was in the front when we first got there still waiting at the window on their order. do NOT come to this location literally ever. read more

Please stop pouring 17 pounds of salt on a single box of fries!!! It's new, they need some lessons to get it right so I will give them some time. Drive through only but the line went very fast. But please for the love of god no more salt on the fries. Wasn't a fan of the #2 spicy ketchup. Would have preferred the og spicy. Also my bun was wet. read more

Ridiculously slow service. Literally had to leave after 30 min with no food. What a joke.

First time trying whataburger. What a shame, not very busy, but waited over 20 minutes for a standard hamburger order. Obviously big problems with staff and management. Not sure I will be back. read more

Not gonna lie.. their Facebook page admin blocked me because I made a post saying I hope the staff don't screw up making the burgers like all of the U.S. because we all know that Memphis people these days are lazy and it will taste Luke just another burger joint. No plans on spending my money with this establishment.. the one in Jackson Mississippi right off the highway turned into just another burger joint. read more

After waiting in line forever, and finally receiving our order, it turned out to be incorrect. We were missing two of our sandwiches, and They're taking the cheap route by hiring a lot of teenagers, who, unfortunately, don't have the best customer service skills. Save yourself a whole lot of hassle and just go to Five Guys. read more

SLOW! I waited in line for about 40 minutes. The line was not that long at all. The food was bland.

Excellent they are so courteous ..the one on Germantown parkway and Macon Meat Burger

we waited in line for a fucking hour and they never even got to taking our order. shitty ass service

I sat in line 45 minutes, 25 of those minutes at the window. To receive cold food. All of it!!! Fries were not fresh burgers cold. Cheese not melted a total disappointment. I don't mind the wait but not to receive fresh food for that wait. what was the delay? read more

I don't know what the big deal about this place is. I drove by and the drive through lane wasn't as packed as usual. Still waited for 36 minutes for a cold burger. The cheese wasn't even melted on it. I'll stick with Five Guys from now on, read more

When I think about slow service I would say it takes 30-45 min to get your food. How about 2 hour wait time at this location. Workers running and playing in the lobby. Boxes piled up inside the lobby. Whataburger Memphis, we have to DO better. Please come and see (Owners) what's happening at this location and provide guidance on how to incorporate better systems. I'm baffled by this. read more

Last time that we are coming here. We were eating last night by takeout order. My siblings from California wish to try you guys out comparing with In n Out. We drove in and did not see any customers inside but a few cars though the drive though area. The inside looks like it was closed. So, we got in line though the drive though. That was a big mistake. We waited over 40 minutes to an hour. While we were waiting that we notice customers were going inside the restaurant. They were getting their orders faster than us. Finally, we got our order. My siblings were totally disappointed along with my family. The food was cooked off the target. The food was lukewarm. The burgers n fries had no flavor, and the onion rings were cooked in old oil. The only thing that they got right was the drinks. The quality and control was a failure. They need to go shut down and go back to Texas. I would not recommend or waste my money. read more

Good gracious this place is slow! Plan on at least an hour to get through the line. Although the line wasn't particularly long, it look 58 minutes from the speaker box to food being in hand. Employees seemed frazzled and I'll equipped to handle the order volume. The food itself was average, nothing great, and certainly not worth the incredibly slow service. Skip this one! read more

The wait for breakfast is ridiculous!! One car ahead of me. I had to get out of my car ask the person ahead of me to let me out. I waited almost 15 minutes after placing the order. It looked like no body was at work when I passed the window. Called and voicemail picked up. That's pitiful !!!! read more

If Whataburger wants to make it in Memphis, they need to make sure their restaurant is clean and they increase their service. We left this location and while we were in line, a customer that had just finished walked by us and said "this Whataburger gets two thumbs down". We eat at Whataburgers in Texas and this one doesn't compare to them. Bathrooms, tables, floors were in desperate need of cleaning. read more

We decided to try whataburger in Cordova and it was a nightmare. Not only did we wait 45 minutes in line only to get the food but they left the kids meal off so I had thought. I go inside wait another 15 minutes to get the kids meal to drive 15 mins home to realize I had the kids meal the whole time they left my husband's meal off so he had a kids meal for dinner. When I was inside I notice there are like 20 plus ppl working so the orders should be correct. I say that because when I was waiting on my second kids meal like 6 other ppl came in with the wrong orders given to them. They really need to evaluate how they are running the kitchen and drive thru. I feel even if you have to wait it's fine but making ppl wait and the order is wrong is crazy. Why can't Chick-fil-A be open on sundays. read more

Hamburgers are good. I went inside for a quicker service in a seemingly short line. took 20 minutes to place my order. Employees seem unhappy read more

Whataburger??... let's talk about Whatawait.... No joke the wife and I waited over an hour in the drive thru to get some cold food. FYI the left lane of the drive thru moves faster due to the poor design. Some poor employee (one person) is required to take the entire right lanes payment and bring them their food. You can see them struggling to bring out 4 drinks and 4 bags of food every 15 minutes, and then try and discern what food and drink is yours. Terrible set up, terrible timing, terrible cold food. I feel for the employees. Managers, I have some advice. If you're gonna run two lanes in the drive thru take the time to study how Chick-fil-A does it.... iPads with payment capabilities and multiple people taking orders. At least the wife and I can accurately say we didn't eat "fast food" for dinner last night. read more

I have been to this location twice now around 10:00am. When I say this is the reason I only eat chicfila when I eat fast food. This is prime example why. I have been waiting in drive through with barely any cars in the line for almost an hour both times. All I ordered was a honey butter chicken biscuit both times. Ridiculous. They need some better management at this location because no reason it should take this long for anybody to get their food. I get my food quicker at chicfila when there is a line out to the street. read more

The worst service and food. Once you get stuck in the non moving line due to workers hanging out and talking you cannot leave. The cars I entered the parking lot with split into a separate line were gone with their food in 20 minutes, but I was stuck in the 40 minute line. The food was cold by the time we received it and not even tasting good. I will only go to WayBack Burger from now on. read more
