this place needs new management and new staff employees, everyone standing around laughing and giggling instead of work, after waiting for 30 minutes I ask someone about my order, they said they are working on it, after 45 minutes I ask again but this time the manager, and she said it takes 9 minutes to cook the food, I told her it's been 45 minutes, and she said she just started cooking the food herself, so another 9 minutes at least more time to wait, all that for one sandwich, waste of time and money, the bathroom was dirty and a lot of people were standing in line and waiting for their orders, and a lot of customers were given incomplete orders, as the employees kept laughing and giggling in the cooking prep are, even people waiting curbside and drive thru came in asking about their orders. read more

The food is always great, in my experience, at any Whataburger. But this Whataburger's service, off of Garth on the I10 feeder, is deplorable. The have both lanes open but fail to take the outside lanes orders. And then when you call to tell them you're sitting in line waiting to have your order taken, they hang up on you. I visit this location often as I live in the neighrborhood. It always satisfies me when I'm hankering for a sweet n' spicy bacon burger. I always order onion rings cause I just don't care for the fries here. There are only three fast food restaurants that have great fries, and unfortunately whataburger does not make that list. That does not negate the fact that they satisfy my hunger. I always stick with what I know. I remember when this location first opened up, the service was struggling at first. Waiting in long lines through the drive thru. It always seemed backed up, so I would avoid it and get something else. Lately, ive been visiting more often and the service has gotten better. Orders are taken promptly and correctly and my order is always repeated back to me. I appreciate them on the accuracy. My food always comes as I ordered, whether I have a special request or substitue my fries for onion rings. The only thing I can complain about is that somtimes they dont change out their fountain soda and replace it with a new one. I have gotten sparkling water when I ordered sprite a few times, but even that has improved lately. I appreciate how far its come and I will continue to visit so long as it continues its amazing service. read more

For a fast food restaurant, Whataburger is one of the better ones. It's difficult to give 5 stars to a fast food restaurant, though. One of the positive aspects of this particular Whataburger is that they are fast. Most Whataburgers take a long time to receive food. However, the food does not seem to often be fresh. Whataburgers slogan used to be, "We don't make it until you order it." Maybe this has changed, and I'm unaware of it. Regardless, I think the food should be made fresh. I have been going in the morning, so I suspect they make a lot of chicken strips at one time to keep up with the demand. For the taste, the chicken isn't as good as places like Canes, but it's better than places like Jack in the Box or Sonic. The hamburgers are great. I think they add a little too many toppings, but that's ok. The fries and onion rings are amazing. If you haven't had Whataburger before, I think it's a great place to try if you like fast good. If you have had Whataburger before and want the food to come out fast, this is the location to go too. read more

I have been in Baytown for 40+ years. Whataburger has been my go to place for a burger. Today I had the worst burger I've maybe ever had. Severely disappointed. They totally butchered my order. I asked for crisper bacon than usual, no pickles, easy lettuce and no cheese. Not difficult for a halfway decent place. The burger looked liked it had cheese and they tried to remove it, there were little pieces on it. There was 4-5 tiny slivers of soggy lettuce like they tried to remove all of it, several pickles and very thin soggy bacon. I don't know if they are under new management or just don't care. You would think a company would have the decency to have at least some kind of notification next to the 24 hour sign why they're not open. Sorry and this makes me hella sad. My husband and I work evenings and we get off around 12am-1am. Whataburger is usually a great go to for some grub at the early morning hours. This location however let us down. We go to the drive thru and the line is extremely long. I will say they got the order correct and didn't leave anything out. However, the food was old. The fries were molded to the carton they came in. My cheese was so old it was dried to the burger, not melted, dried. The food couldn't even be called warm. For a place that's open 24/7 it really shouldn't matter what time people are coming for food, it should always be made fresh. read more

I came to this location and they were very unfriendly, I saw 3 people that ordered after me and all left before me including a door dasher that came in and left before me as well. 9:30 on a Friday night and the drive thru had two lanes open. The place was busy but the wait was only about 15 min. I ordered a Whataburger which was prepared exactly to order and medium fries. They brought out the order-- no ketchup, no napkins. The fries were cold and so was the meat on the burger. There's no reason for a place this busy to have had cold food!!
