My one piece of advice would be, if you see a bargin, grab it while you can as it may not be there next time you go. The staff are friendly and helpful but don't know themselves what is going to be on the next delivery. There is a small car park attached to store but this is often full, there is a council pay and display carpark just across the road. A shop well worth popping into regularly to spot a bargin or two.

Everything is pretty damn cheap. If you want a kitschy sculpture of an owl painted as though the craftsman was wearing beer google, you've got your store. It won't put you out much for the masterpiece and you might even find that, while you're there, you can pick up a new pair of scissors for a pound or two. If your a pedestrian in the area, you can go to this pedestrian shop, but only if you need some cheap house goods or other random items of little value. They were also selling bars of Toblerone and three packs of Kinder Bueno for 99p each. Simply marvellous. When moving hous this is pretty much my one stop shop, it's a cross between a pound store on one side and right next door is this discount store that sells things for slightly more but are still a bargain. Don't be afraid to haggle too, I always do, and no it never really works they just point at the price tag and shrug but at least I'm trying! I have bought a fabulous soft rug here for my new flat, not the prettiest thing in the world but it was well over 10ft square and only cost £60. Other stuff they do is washing lines, tea pots, random crap that you don't need but suddenly think you do when you're in there and more. Seriously, if you are in the area make sure you pop in. It's a great random store.

Great when you move into a new place and need things to make the place look and smell pretty; candles, incense, cheap vases etc. I always bulk buy coat hangers from here as they're cheap and useful. Great for large quantities of batteries, washing powder and shampoo. Also good for fairy lights and Christmas decoration, a really useful resource for those with no money but will to decorate. We're talking toiletries including shampoos, conditioners, moisturisers, shower gels, soaps, hand creams, cotton wool, cotton buds... We're talking household essentials - toilet and kitchen roll, tin foil, detergents and fabric softeners... I could go on all evening so I'll stop - you get the idea. I love a good cleaning session and this is the perfect place to stock up on my bits and pieces for just that. A 99p store.....marvellous…read more Everything for 99p. What a wonderful thing in these times of recession. It's a complete mixed bag of many things that are truly worth no more than 99p and some things that may possibly be worth a pound or even a pound and a penny. However they sell After Eight mints in boxes small enough to fit in the 1970's metal holder that belonged to my nanny and is full of fond memories. For this unknowing act alone I recommend them to you all.

Those reviews here belong to a long time ago when an old lady was managing the store and customers were happy. As long as Abdul, the new agent is running the store, it is awful! In fact the current seller of this shop is not a normal person at all. The shop pretends to be a cheap place, while has some bad quality stuff with triple the price of similar stuff in other shops and never cuts a key which can work at all. The man in the bright day light takes your money without any shame and then accuses you of racism! He charged me £7 to cut 2 keys, not working. twice I took them to the shop for a refund. The third time he refunded me on my debit card. The next day I checked and realized rather than refunding he had taken another £7! I went there, burst into anger and asked for my £14 or will call the police! He was laughing at me what did the police do? When he noticed I was serious, refunded me in cash. There was a CCTV there, recording all that happened. He lied to the police I spat on him and called him a bad name! It is now recorded in the police station. In the future, be aware if he wants to play the race card, he has at least one record in this regard at the police station BE MINDFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD, HE GETS MONEY OUT OF IT WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT AND WITH NO SHAME, IN THE BRIGHT DAYLIGHT!
