The reason I'm including my lost lampshade is because Tim Ducos sent Fernando & Marcos to check my attic & that's above & beyond the call of duty for Restoration 1& that's the kind of company owner Adam Blackler runs. Be careful what you are signing and take the iPad from their hands and READ EVERYTHING carefully. They overcharge, their pricing is not based on the region, it is whatever they want to charge. Did they do the work, yes. Was I satisfied with the work, yes. Did they try to put a lein on my house, also yes.

When I dropped it off, we discussed the…read morerestoration and was told it would take about a month to complete which made sense based on previous research on restoration processes. About 3 weeks after we dropped it off, I received an email and text stating the rug was ready for pick-up. But when I went to pick it up, I was told it was not ready and the 'system' sometimes sends out false messages. About a week and a half later, I received another message the rug was ready for pick-up. Once at the store, I inspected the rug and was shocked and somewhat incensed at what I was looking at. The rug was destroyed. Instead of restoring the damaged portions, they cut them off and sewed new binding/edges. Had I known they were going to do that, I would have never taken my rug to them to restore. They blamed it on a communications issue. I took the rug to them to restore based on favorable reviews, their name "Aladin Cleaning and Restoration," and longevity. There are companies in San Antonio that actually do restore rugs, I just chose the wrong one that does not have the capability and capacity to do so. The rug they destroyed was purchased when we lived in Europe and has significant sentimental value ... can never be replaced! Now it is going to cost significantly more to have the carpet restored based on Aladin's actions.

They charged a horrible amount to tear up my house leave me to clean it and try to figure out how to pay for the repairs to all the walls they tore up. paid extra for another home inspector to come out and now my bill is over $40,000.00 just to get my home back to the way it was. on top of all of that I will have to hire someone to fix my foundation and put the dirt they dug out back, fix my foundation and walls. I must say the guys that were tearing up everything were very polite.
