This is a cafe/restaurant inside a nursery. Coffee is decent, the food is generally pretty good…read morethough it can be slow to arrive in busy periods. Pleasant surroundings but kids playground can be noisy.

Rude Service from the Owner…read more I have been to this local nursery many times in the past, but yesterday's experience will mean it is my last. I wanted to purchase some small tomato plants and in the relevant section, numerous signs advertised 3 seedlings for $18, so I selected 3 and went to the counter to pay. I was advised that the cost was $26. I questioned this based on the advertised signage and was informed that I had selected plants that were not part of the advertised special. I believe that I could have challenged the misleading signage but simply stated that I wasn't paying $26 for 3 plants and left the counter on my way to put the plants back where I had found them. A very rude women later discovered to be the apparent owner, overheard me explaining to my wife as to why I was not purchasing the plants and putting them back. Quite abruptly, this women told me not to bother putting them back, and took them off me. I replied that it wasn't a bother to me at all and then commented to my wife that I really wanted to support my local nursery business but felt ripped off by both the signage and cost and that I would go to Bunnings, where the cost would likely be around half of the $26. This very rude woman then shouted out that she sold premium plants, not like "the crap sold at Bunnings". She then told me to leave and don't come back and when I told her that this is not how you treat customers, she repeated her demand that I leave and don't come back. I then told her that I intended to see her manager, to which she replied that she was the owner. I left quite dismayed, that this rude woman believes that this is how to treat customers. I will do as she demanded and never return and already telling my friends of the rude experience. What is a real shame is that they do have a great range of seemingly quality plants, perhaps a little overpriced and a really lovely cafe within the nursery. We have probably been there over a dozen times and food and service has always been great, but alas, we will not be returning Barry Whitebridge

Food and flowers; what a relaxing combination! Came for the cafe but the nursery is worth a walk…read morethrough before or after you eat. Lots of colour and variety. 1st visit was just the girls for high tea. $45pp which when the 3 tiered stand appeared I thought it overpriced but it was just the right amount. This also included the most deliciously sweet peach iced tea and a tea, coffee or soft drink. 2nd visit only one week later as we enjoyed it so much. This time was for breakfast. The menu is a modest selection offered all day. I chose the eggs how you like (scrambled) with sourdough and added bacon with a caramel latte. The eggs were silky and buttery, a decent sized meal. I wouldn't suggest the waffles with bacon though as they are not freshly made and disappointing to have put in front of you. A "is this it?" moment. 3rd visit pending for coffee and cake. A charming cottage feel with young and friendly staff.

Hands down the best breakfast I've have in all of Australia and def one of the top 10 in my life…read more When we parked I thought it was a small junk yard. Walk in, I'm pleasantly surprised by some pretty plants. Walk in further and my jaw drops at the giant garden with a restaurant tucked away in the back. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating so you can overlook the garden. Such a dream to have a meal here! We saw the chef come out and pull fresh herbs for our dishes. The food is incredibly fresh, nicely plated, light, and refreshing. Their dessert is excellent and not too sugary either - less guilt! I literally didn't want the experience to end, so I kept ordering warm drinks and even grabbed takeaway food to share with family later. It's been nearly 2 months since I first went here and I dream and reminisce about the food and experience regularly. Such a cool spot and concept! Great that you can purchase anything in the garden - how interactive and inspiring. You can even buy the succulents on the restaurant tables - brilliant!
