Stopped by this Wetzel's location today while shopping to grab a quick bite. I ordered the Pizza Bites with Marinara Sauce and my kid ordered the Cheesy Dog Bites with Cheese Sauce The Cheesy Dog Bites were pretty good but the Pizza Bites were horrible. They were over cooked, dry and the bottom was hard. I returned them to the store and chose another item with no issues. I appreciated the apology and great customer service! The prices have increased quite a bit. Paid $19.98 for 2 cups of pretzels with sauce, no drinks. read more

Walked in at about 3:30 pm and they had nothing but two orders of the pretzel bites and there was about a 10 min wait for other flavors. We decided to wait and came back, as you can imagine, it was pretty backed up. However, the workers were friendly and apologetic and tried hard to go fast. I WOULD NEVER EAT HERE. Today I went into the store to purchase a drink. I ordered the item and looked up. What did I see? I saw an employee sitting on a table/stand with her dirty sneakers on top of it as well. This is the same table/stand the holds the mixer. Not only was her entire butt and legs in the table/stand, there was also a pink iPhone plugged up next to the table/stand. Where was the iPhone? It was sitting on top of the mixer with the cord running down. I AM SURE THIS IS VIOLATING ALL KIND OF HEALTH CODES!! Why is an employee's dirty shoes on top of any area where food is prepared? Phones are some of the dirtiest items we touch daily. This should not be sitting on top of the mixer. This place needs to train its employees better. Please close until you thoroughly clean your entire store AND properly train your employees!!! I would have taken pictures, but this individual was obviously a teenager. Pro tip here, read the reviews before you go. I went to this pretzel place without doing so and laughed when all the other low ratings were exactly what I experienced. The customer in front of me complained that the pretzels weren't cooked. They took them back during COVID and put them back in to cook more after giving them to a customer. This not only is insane but also violates health department rules. Aurora was probably one of the rudest cashiers I've ever run across. I'm not sure how she got a job in customer service. I paid and moved to where the pickup section was and to give social distance for others in line. Instead of bringing the drink and food to me, she dumped them in front of the register and other people and made me walk over to get them. Not just once but twice. When I asked her about it she was rude. Do yourself a favor, save your money, the pretzels are overpriced anyway and it's not worth the hassle. I just bought some raw pretzels, the most undercooked pretzels I ever had I can still taste the dough smh I'd give this no stars. I know bad batches do happen but I also bought a regular pretzel and it was trash. I'm sorry but this made my stomach hurt and I love pretzels read more

We found this outlet at Allen premium shopping outlet when we were hungry. We took Chese Pretzels and surprisingly it was not cooked properly although it tastes good. From.iutside it was crunchy and tastes really good but from inside it just uncooked dough. But we did like the strawberry lemonade. Customer service was not as expected. Normally we like Wetzel's. This was our first time at this location. I am doing 3 stars hoping it was just a bad batch but our cheese dogs bites were charred burnt. I'm actually a person that doesn't mind some crispy goodness but most of the bites were burnt beyond flavor. Sad "treat" lunch for my 3 year old and me. read more

Never ever eat here. My friend and I got a pretzel and it was disgusting. It was cooked on the outside and that was it. The rest of the pretzel was uncooked and just dough. I feel sick after eating it and I feel like throwing up at the thought of having eaten a uncooked pretzel. On Saturday 7/21/2018 I was leaving the mall and was feeling kind of hungry. I noticed a place called Wetzel Pretzel and decided to stop by at 8:50 pm, and I felt bad because it was right before the mall closed. There were 3 kids there and they all seemed to know what they were doing. Due to the late time I expected the service to be lacking since the kids were working on closing duties. However, I was surprised that I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my order was taken immediately. Ok so this would be my first review, my husband is usually the one doing it. First, horrible customer service, bunch of kids running the place, arguing what to do etc... We asked for dog bites. The kid helping us asked the baker (only adult) and he just flat out said no. Normally at auntie anne's when they don't have any out it's because it's still baking and they'd tell us how long and we can decide if we wait or not. They also have better product quality.
