I have total confidence that she knows more about tax law, procedures, regulations, and filing requirements than I do. I rely on Melissa for my corporate and personal filings for myself and my family. She has this extensive in-take process where she makes sure I provide all the required information. I have NEVER had a problem with the IRS after she had done the filings for me. I've found her prices to be very reasonable and always within the ranges she quotes me in advance. I've even had a couple of foolish members of the extended family mess up their returns with TURBO TAX and Melissa has always been able to untangle the mess and even get their fines and penalties reduced and in some cases turned a bill into a refund once things were done properly. I deal with people all the time. I often here of situations where two people disagree over a fact or how something happened. If it comes to taxes and two people are in a disagreement and one of them is Melissa - I guarantee the other person is wrong. She is that good.

I hired a professional to help me ensure that everything is included. If I new all of the necessary documents, I would have prepared the filing myself. I've hired Ms. Schiff for at least 4 filings now and 2 of the 4 have ended up with significant price increases from the quoted price (133-200% greater than the price quoted) with no significant changes in the information provided on in-take. I don't know about you, but I can't afford a giant surprise bill. I would not recommend this service.

Again, to ask what time this appointment was set up for. Lastly, to ask if I could come in sooner. Get there and I tell them I'm here for my 2 o'clock appointment and she proceeds to gather the exact same information I gave her over the phone. We have a seat and they finally realize at a while we were the ones with appointment so we just straight up left. If they can't handle an appointment how can I trust them with my taxes?
