This shop has very nice decor items and furniture. They also had some clothing. I did not buy anything from this shop this time but I will still make a future visit to see what new items they come up with.

There is public and street parking close to Blackbird Nest and the other shops I wanted to visit. As I entered Blackbird Nest I received a pleasant greeting. The Blackbird Nest specializes in redesigned modern, antique and vintage furniture along with home decor, lamps, new clothing, bath and body products, prints, florals and wreaths plus holiday decor. The shop has several smaller rooms with various items incorporated throughout but items are organized well and prices are clearly marked. I liked seeing furniture, clothing, home and holiday decor all tastefully arranged together in each space. The store has a few narrow isleway's but most are spacious enough to browse comfortably down. They do have a dressing room to try on clothing you are interested in. If you're in Franklin make time to visit Blackbird Nest. Terrific location for gifts, clothing and unique furniture.

The clerk was busy with customers when I entered. A couple rooms were filled with antiques and locally made goods. I saw a couple things that I wanted, but they were a bit pricy for me (though probably reasonable for the quality). It was fun to look even though I left empty handed. I found street parking a block north and walked.

Despite being crowded with shoppers, the clerks were welcoming and friendly. They carry assorted antiques, vintage items, scents/candles and more. Currently, they are decorated for Christmas with a lot of holiday merchandise. There is an upstairs with rooms filled with assorted vintage items. I confess that I was on sensory overload with all the customers, smells of cider and merchandise. The shop was a little tight and I will probably go back at a time when they are less crowded. We parked around the block and walked. There are steps, I'm not sure if the upstairs is accessible.

Nestled on the north side of Jefferson about a block west of the courthouse, this shotgun style business is long and narrow but still had enough room to get around. Inside, there is a wide variety of items to choose from: Some for gifts, some for personal, some for a laugh. The next time you feel like browsing for something different, stop by. They have street parking as well as a free parking lot across the street. I will definitely be going back soon to pickup those items if they still have them! Perusing this store was a joy for me as they had so many things in my style. A bit quirky, a bit funny, and so unique. I love cats and there was a tall wooden cat that would have fit perfectly on my hearth and that is one of the things I am returning for. They also had some jewelry I liked. They had a few hats, decor, holiday items, and so much more! I will happily return here over the course of the next month.
