I usually can tell it will be a good first purchase in how they reply (or not reply in some cases). I was worried about how safely my fish would ship, but it was packaged very well and my betta Thomas (named Thomas Gabriel Fish after Thomas Gabriel Fischer, the lead singer of Celtic Frost) arrived quickly and alive and well. Since my betta was going to be part of a community tank, I spent a good amount of time watching their videos and realized that since they appeared to keep the bettas next to one another, I would try to find one that flared the least to hopefully get one that wasn't as aggressive towards other fish. It was a long shot, but it turned out great. Thomas was the only one I saw that didn't flare at all. There was one other one that only flared briefly in the 1 minute videos. I think these videos are a great idea and I hope you guys keep doing them as it seemingly gives you an idea of how your fish will be in your tank. Previously, I had reserved a betta at my LFS while my tank was cycling and when I went back to pick him up, they said all their bettas got sick and died, so accidents can happen to any store. Anyway, I couldn't have been more right about Thomas.. he hasn't bothered to be aggressive to any fish I've had in my tank and I've got several Harlequin Rasboras, some Black Neon Tetras, a few Albino Catfish and some Galaxy Rasboras. He's so chill and laid back that I'm confident that most any peaceful community fish I add in there will work out fine.

They now have a bunch of fish tanks in store, so you can buy a full set up and get started right away. They can also order you whatever tank you want if they don't have it in store already. As far are coral and livestock goes, their selection is amazing! As someone who has been in the hobby for several years and frequently visits different fish stores regularly, most of the time places just have the same common corals. But that is not the case here! They have everything from a $10 bargain section to super high end coral that most other stores don't ever carry. It's clear that these guys have been in the hobby for a long time because they are making sure to bring in the less common stuff. It's definitely worth stopping in just to see those coral.

After being told that there was a policy that only applied to fish that died between 24 hours. We are distraught over those $200 that has now turned into an empty solution, where we were mocked for our efforts to keep a pet. We feel mocked for how we were told to communicate that 24 hour policy that didn't apply to us and won't bring our money back. This is not a place to bring home a lifetime friend.

We found Aquatic Galleria and we were so glad we did. The store had such an amazing variety of healthy and unique fish. It was also very clean and had such a nice modern vibe to it. Throughout the store you could find amazing aquascapes. Our favorite was the huge discus tank. We sat on the couch and admired it for a good bit! We are just in town for a bit so we didn't buy any fish but if we were local you bet I would've bought half the livestock inventory. But they do ship! So we might end up getting something from them anyways! So many amazing cichlids. I'm a big fan of apistos and they had the best selection. We wanted to support the store and get something so we decided to get some art. Little did we know the art we picked out was actually drawn by Ann! Ann is the sister of the owner, and she was so nice and welcoming. Her art work is all around the store and are purchasable! I…read moreshould have listened to the rumors and reputations about pet stores, but the staff was so kind and helpful, I just couldn't imagine I would have a bad experience AFTER going home. I definitely feel like I was taken for a fool. My sweet little Maltese wasn't responding during my training, so I began to question her hearing. After speaking to our vet, she determined that she could be deaf. So I contacted the Petland Warranty number and they insisted that I send them proof from an official (and expensive) BAER hearing test. Sure enough, she is deaf. For the last two months I have been battling back and forth to try to get some sort of compensation for her, knowing she will need special training. What I ALSO have encountered (after owning many dogs in my lifetime) is that both of my sweet babies (a Brussels Griffon also), peed and pooped in their cages where they sleep! AND eat their poop!! When I told my vet, the first thing she asked is if they came from a pet store. Apparently she sees that all the time, so I was embarrassed to say yes. They all looked at me like "whelp, you should have known not to buy from a pet store!" I also have to UNDO the bad potty training habits that the puppies learned living in a box with other dogs. Petland offered me 25% refund, 50% store credit, or another dog. Really? I'm not going to just give her back. She's not a pair of shoes! Of course I'm going to keep her and give her the home she needs. I asked for 50% refund or 75% store credit but was rejected both times. They threw in a vibrating collar (that I already had to buy). As of today, we are still back and forth in this debate. Such a shame. Petland and pet stores in general have gained another enemy and extremely unhappy customer. From now on I will advocate for rescues or working directly with a breeder. Petland just doesn't seem to care about doing things right and I am SO disappointed in myself for trusting them. PLEASE I BEG YOU don't buy from this store. At the very least, make sure you read the fine print clearly and don't glaze over the warranty. Do you research and learn how they care for them. It seems as though everyone is right. They are a glorified puppy mill and KNOW people will sacrifice their budget for the cute puppies in the window. And if there is a problem, they don't do right by you OR the puppies. They still protect their bottom line. I 100% DO NOT AND WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND this store. The employees may be nice, but in reality, you (and those sweet babies) are just a profit.

After taking her to a specialist veterinarian I was recommended to switch her to a high quality single source protein diet, preferably a less common protein, and a food that also has prebiotics and probiotics. Pet supply center has a very large selection to choose from and I ultimately found a kangaroo protein dog food with pre and probiotics. My dog loves the food and we have never looked back. As well as pet food, they also have a selection of treats, collars and pet outfits. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
