The Esso is connected to and A&W which seemed a bit odd as the pumps were to the left and what looks what used to be more pumps on the right side which is now an outdoor seating area for take out food. The gas pumps are super long with about 6 pumps on each side which is great for a lot of customers going through but once you're in line you're committed as you can't back out so the only way out is forward seeing you have to wait for the person ahead of you to leave. Inside the station was a bee hive of activity from the staff as there were two managers and five staff members crowded behind the counter. On my search for a coffee cup I actually had to ask where they kept them, they were behind the counter which puzzled me as my only thought was people steal coffee cups.

First of all I have never seen such a dirty pump yet. This makes not only Diesel look like the 'dirty choice' but you need a bunch of paper towels to handle the nozzle if you do not want to smell like an oil refinery for the rest of your trip. When I had filled up, the pump told me that I have to get my receipt inside - guess the staff does not touch the pump either to refill the paper for the printer... Finally there are the washrooms: I can not remember when I was using a washroom as smelly from urine as this one the last time. Even most of the outhouses in the parks smell better.
