Pretty good clip joint on West Haywood! I walked in for a cut and only had to wait five or ten minutes before being seen. Melissa is all personality and a great conversationalist. She gave a very nicely styled short cut with a wicked fade in the back (no I'm not from Boston). I do wish she had washed my hair, but to be fair I didn't ask or speak up, I just assumed she would (as most place do).Having someone wash my hair and massage my scalp is a real pleasure. She did however give me a little neck massage toward the end with some lotion/cream to soothe my nape. Would definitely go back again. read more

Just had a very disappointing experience. Did a walk in with my son and woman cutting his hair did a very rough job. She says she was following the picture he had but it was very choppy in the back and looked more like an amateur haircut. I took him back in after I saw it and she 'fixed' it in about 5 minutes. I'm not exaggerating, I've never seen anyone cut hair so quickly and with as little attention. The finished job was passable but I found the whole experience with her unprofessional. I would've never dropped $30 dollars there if I'd known what a half way job she was going to do. I won't be going back. read more

I was happy to get a same-day appointment but I was not pleased at all with my haircut. The stylist took ten minutes- from start to finish. She did not offer to wash my hair nor did she wet it to cut- my hair is naturally a little wavy so I trusted she knew what she was doing. After I got home and washed and flat-ironed my hair I could see that the back was VERY uneven. I don't feel like the stylist took the time and care necessary to give me a good haircut. read more

I'm extremely picky with hair color. I've only had a stylist give me exactly what I wanted a handful of times. I always show pictures, but rarely does it look like the photos. Stacy was patient as I showed her what I liked and didn't like. She then suggested some things that would make it better and talked with me about what would and wouldn't work for my hair. She also noticed a lot of split ends as she was cutting that I didn't know I had since they were in the back. She was able to give me a beautiful cut that took care of them all. The highlights and lowlights were perfect! I used a Groupon for this and paid extra for lowlights as well as for longer hair. Best $110 + tip I've spent in a salon! read more

Terrible experience. I'm so disappointed and perplexed given all the positive reviews and photos on Yelp and Facebook. Stephanie spent about 15 minutes giving me a fast and sloppy trim. I have long straight hair - it's not hard to cut, but I expect a stylist to do more than what I could do myself. She didn't take her time, ask questions, or check her work. Total waste of $30 + tip. I totally support my local neighborhood shops, but not poor service. I didn't expect a high end haircut for $30, but I didn't expect a low quality Great Clips cut either. My hair looks like it is over due for another cut already. I want to think this is an isolated experience. I want a re-do, but I don't want to throw another $30+ away. read more

I was very disappointed with my haircuts. My first cut left me unsatisfied, so I returned within the week to see if it could be rectified, and alas, it actually got worse! I thought the stylist I saw was an awesome person that was fun to talk to, but I didn't think that her skills with the clips were as laudable. read more

Stacey cut my hair on a Monday when I guess a lot other salons are closed. She did a really nice job, I have been very happy with it, it's been 5 weeks and the shape is still good despite being the fact hat I am due for a cut soon. Stacey is really nice, relaxed, good energy. :) read more
