You get multiple opinions at one time and there's always someone with a new idea. Science is alive and well at Cedars Sinai. The staff is amazing. The nurses and the clinical partners work as a team. No one ever waits for the other one to do their job. They do their jobs together. It's very proficient and efficient. Even the cleaning people are friendly. They always have a smile on a good morning. I think whoever hires staff at Cedars deserves accolades for their ability to find the best of the best in every aspect of the hospital. Believe it or not I enjoyed the food. I more than often ordered the salmon and the sweet pea soup. I was moved to a long-term care Hospital and I really miss the salmon :0) I would give Cedars Sinai 10 stars if I could.

As a matter of fact I was sick myself with an AKI and a creatinine that was badly elevated. I recall vividly saying "I'd rather die at home" then be admitted to this hell hole of a facility. This place is really unsafe and I have seen so many egregious errors go down watching my father's care take place here, then my aunt, and now a close friend of mine. First and foremost if you say you see a safety issue they will gaslight you and cover their ass. When I was with my Dad in the ER back in 2023 they failed to scrub the hub when they were pushing medications in his line. If this was a code I would have been a little more understanding but it wasn't. It's gross. They failed to reassess angioedema and airway obstruction as the night went down. Only I was asking him to open his mouth and double check. So much task oriented robotic care was going on, it was bloody unsafe. Now my aunt, well they killed her. I no longer have an aunt cause of this hospital. I won't get into further details but I encourage everyone please please report to CMS if you have speculations about a loved one's care. Don't even go to joint commission, go to CMS. It doesn't change loss but I know this one was a royal f-up.

I was having serious issues and needed to see someone right away. I actually ended up in the hospital. He called and spoke to the Er Dr. texted me through Mycslink totally on top of it. just so much more than any other Dr have ever had. I was with a so called Concierge Dr. before and he totally dropped the ball on some health stuff that should have been taken care of years ago. Not only is he amazing but his office staff is just as awesome. his nurse Shadi, and right hand Ava and Lena all super stars. just can't say enough. it's the most efficient well run office I have ever been too. They totally rock. they take care of everything. They are one step ahead of you. it's like you don't even have to ask. they already have checked with your insurance etc. it's so appreciated. Who likes having blood drawn for what seems like an endless barrage of tests? NOT ME!!! But...if…read moreyou find yourself on the receiving end of a phlebotomist's needle, one of the best places to be is the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station." Located inside the stunning "Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion" on the campus of world-renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station" is arguably the gold standard of labs. Seriously...after having horrible experiences at other medical facilities, there is no comparison to the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station." For those who experience more than average pain & discomfort during venipuncture due to various issues such as scar tissue, &/or fragile teeny-tiny "spider web veins" that love to play "hide-&-seek," then roll & completely collapse, do yourself a favour & give the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station" a try. You may be pleasantly surprised. Although some of the front office staff can be a bit surly, & the wait times are sometimes nothing short of atrocious, once you're inside for the actual lab work, the level of service is excellent. When your name is called, your assigned phlebotomist will escort you to your own private room (...yes! You get a private room just for a blood draw!), where they are fully equipped to handle a multitude of scenarios with not only squeeze balls, but also heating pads, a couch, & even oxygen, if needed. The phlebotomists kindly wear masks/face-coverings to protect themselves & the patients, so that everyone (including those who are immune compromised) can feel safe & protected. They are world-class professionals who specialize in complex cases, & are very skilled, patient, compassionate, & attentive to patients' individual needs & preferences. If you're seeking a clean, safe, & sanitary lab with a high level of skill, professionalism, & compassion, visit the "Pavilion Lab Blood Draw Station." Know-Before-You-Go: * Valet parking is available in the Pavilion Parking Garage * Masks/Face-coverings required by all

They refused my paperwork and wanted me to pay out of pocket for the testing, the transplant coordinator from the referring hospital agreed to pay but greedy Cedars Sinai wanted payment BEFORE blood was drawn. This was unheard of especially since there was no guarantee they would be successful for a blood draw. What kind of hospital refuses to do organ donor bloodwork and demands payment upfront?! What if a patient didn't have means to pay thousands up front they would just turn them away? Regardless, I will go to sleep in peace knowing that STANFORD AND LUCILLE PACKARD CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL (the most reputable in the nation) will never use Cedars Sinai for their out of town organ donor patients! P.s the front desk workers and Sofia the manager were unprofessional and lacked basic human manners.

Shocking that they do not try to improve this place. It would be a simple fix. Before hiring they should definitely do a course on reviewing empathy, cultural competency. So sad that people fighting for their lives have to put up with stuff like this.

He hasn't had any issues or concerns…read morefor his HEALTH/LIFE until about a year ago when TABITHA THRASHER, came forward as the head manager. From that point on it hasn't been a very friendly or welcoming environment AT ALL. Coming from my father, a patient here for three years, who comes 3 days out of the week..EVERY SINGLE WEEK, in belief that this lady, TABITHA has his best interest in saving his life, THAT IS NOT OK. The good nurses are talked down on by TABITHA and patients sit there on edge to see stuff like this. I don't think it's rocket science in this place of business that PEOPLE ARE LITERALLY FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES, on a daily basis, and as the person who is supposed to be helping them TABITHA it shouldn't be hard to be a DECENT HUMAN BEING to your nurses and your patients especially KNOWING THAT THEIR LIVES ARE ON THE LINE. Lets not forget to mention that if it wasn't for TABITHAS patients, she wouldn't even be seeing a check. It shouldn't be hard to respectfully care for each and every patient TABITHA comes across, being that THAT IS HER JOB. My father has been in 2 incidents with this TABITHA woman, and after this last incident enough is enough. TABITHA was talking down on ELLA (who is a nurse/technician) right in front of my father AS HE WAS BEING SERVICED (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) and he didn't feel right witnessing the technician ELLA being broken down right in front of him by someone who's clearly abusing their authority TABITHA (being that ELLA has genuinely been there for my dad since the start) and decided to speak up for her. He simply stated to TABITHA that it wasn't right for her to be coming at her employees like that as it shows no human decency and can cause a stress to the patients being serviced. TABITHA proceeds to tell my father that he shouldn't even be speaking to her or approaching her in any type of way THEN gives ELLA a write up and finally tells ELLA that it's her fault my father said anything to TABITHA at all. WHAT KIND OF "LIFE SAVING" BUSINESS IS THIS? that 1 star is because i had to choose a star to be able to write this review. 0 stars
