Milford Mitsubishi - The new rotors, and pads I put on the car

I told them no, and took my car straight to Meineke in which my oil change was last completed. Meineke in Branford was able to change my oil without a problem of "the screw being too tight", as per Milford Mitsubishi told me. I honestly felt like they did not want to do the job, and wanted me to pay for something that would've cost about $950, according to their quote for a new oil pan, which was unnecessary. Please guys, go somewhere else. The service department at this dealership is not honest and will try to recommend unnecessary work.

He lied to me about what my payment would be, hiding fees and final numbers. He said anything he could to get the deal done. He tried to sell me a car with a broken key and I told him I would not do the deal if he was not able to provide a working key. We signed off on a deal that a new key would be provided. Since then, a month later, he has ignored every call and message and has completely scammed me out of this deal. No key has been provided and he will not communicate. This entire establishment is unprofessional and did not know anything about my car they sold me. I have been buying high end cars from dealers for years now and hands down the worst experience I've ever had. Do NOT buy from this dealership, particularly with Xavier

Wish I had researched this dealership and read these reviews - I would. have steered clear of them…read morerather than experience the worst service visit we have ever had in decades! Made an appointment for a $32 service, and asked to speak to a service manager to inquire about installing a remote starter. They would not let me speak to a manager, insisted only the service desk rep, Ana, could give me that information and that they would call back with the information. We have always maintained our car at our local dealership. Now moving back to CT, we sought a local dealer. They are not all alike at all, while we had service reps with morals and who listened and didn't add services without our permission, that was not the case at the Colonial Toyota of Milford with Ana, our service rep. Waited days...no call (although she did get the message as she added our request to the bill!). Husband took it in and waited. We received a video from the mechanic showing us the car, brakes good, tires good, only recommendation from his end was flushing the brake fluid as it was dark, which we were prepared to go ahead with. Once we got the car in, their "assessment" changed quickly and Ana told my husband we needed over $1,000 worth of fluid changes! My husband instructed her not to do all the work but to limit the cost to below $500. She did not share the final estimate or get his sign off, it was almost $700...for fluids! And that did not include the needed brake fluid flush which was all we wanted! On top of that, they used the wrong oil, of course the most expensive, also without our sign off! Ana and Colonial Toyota could care less about our customer experience or that we are seniors on fixed incomes. Their service department is shady, they did not get approval on the estimate that my husband declined, and this obviously was just the rep looking to pad their commission. (They receive a base salary plus commission on parts & labor sold -- a percentage of the gross profit or total services they sell.) So underhanded and obviously they don't worry about repeat or loyal customers! Shame on this service rep for pushing through expenses and for not getting approval for the work, for not listening to the customer, not returning calls, and for her lack of professionalism and willingness to scam the clients for her own personal reward. In the end, we called to speak to a manager or Ana and, surprise, no one was available. We will be sure to let anyone and everyone we know to steer clear of this sham dealer. Worse dealer experience we have ever had in all our decades!

My Outstanding Experience at Milford Hyundai!…read more We recently purchased our 2026 Hyundai Palisade from Milford Hyundai, and I can honestly say it was one of the most pleasant and professional car-buying experiences we've ever had. Even though other Hyundai dealerships tried to sway us away from our local Milford CT dealership, we returned to Milford, for one reason and one reason only, Jim Doheny. Jim Doheny, our expert Hyundai salesman, was exceptional from start to finish. Jim is incredibly personable, patient, and genuinely enjoyable to work with--never pushy, always attentive, and truly focused on making sure we were comfortable and confident every step of the way. What truly sets Jim apart is his expertise. He knows the Palisade--and all Hyundai vehicles--inside and out. Every question we had was answered thoroughly, clearly, and with impressive product knowledge. He took the time to walk us through the features, technology, and options in a way that made everything easy to understand and exciting to explore. Jim also offered us refreshments and popcorn! He made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel seamless and enjoyable. If you're considering a Hyundai, do yourself a favor, go to Milford CT Hyundai and ask for Jim Doheny. His professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of the Hyundai lineup make him a true asset to Milford Hyundai. We absolutely love our new Palisade Calligraphy family vehicle choice and couldn't be happier with the experience. Thank you, Jim, and thank you Milford Hyundai for having Jim on your team! They Blamed it on the "Oil Filter"... right ! ALL Employees in the SERVICE Department are A-HOLES. Days Later On 4/1/2026, (under a week since the B Service) I'm driving home from Massachusetts and around 4 PM on I-95 South, Prior to approaching Exit 55, my cars gas pedal was not going fast, like it was breaking down. Then, my Map Screen flashed Check Battery. Then, my RPM Circle turned Yallow and said "No Oil" or something close to that. Being in the Left Lane, I knew I needed to move to the Right Lane FAST going to the BreakDown Lane. I almost Died. Two cars from the Left And Right Lanes just kept going, somehow I rolled into the Breakdown Lane. It was Raining and I had to wait 2 Hours and 15 Minutes for the Hyundai Breakdown Flat Bed to get me. The man was Excellent to me, and got the car to KEY pass 6 PM (they were Closed). A slew of Texts went back and forth between Anthony @ Key and Me. On Friday 4/3/2026, one week later from the B Service, I went to speak to the RUDE ARROGANT Service Manager (?) who told me to wait. I got a little loud with him, and he walked into the Repair (?) center. I went Outside to call Milford Police Department. I knew they couldn't do anything about it, but I wanted this issue to be Documented. The officer talked to me, then him, then all three together. Bottom line to all this ? My car had engine seizure. 2023 Elantra Just paid off in March, and now this ! Theas A-HOLES are going to put a NEW Engine in my car for me ? When they cannot EVEN do an oil change correctly. P.S. I know a person on Thompson Street in Milford - same issue. Key Hundai still has their Car and it's been OVER 3 Months as of 4/3/2026. Now it's off to see my Lawyer to get a NEW car FREE. I'll even sue these PRICKS. REPEAT ... ** WARNING ** STAY AWAY FROM KEY HYUNDAI IN MILFORD CONNECTICUT

While setting up the appointment, the system even takes a minute to "verify" the car is still in stock. So we show up at the appointment time. No one is there to meet us. We wait 15 minutes before a salesman comes by and says someone will be right with us. We said we had an appointment. Really? Apparently no one was even expecting us. Soon after, a saleswoman came over and told us the car had been sold just that morning. I was incredulous -- it really sold in just 4 hours? But fine. We said what kind of car we were looking for and they said they had plenty. After about 10 minutes she passed us off onto another salesperson. He started asking about what we were currently driving, whether we were going to trade it in, do we want to finance or lease. Every few minutes he would get up to "check on something", leaving us waiting inexplicably. Then he'd come back and ask more questions about financing and wanting the VIN of our car so they could do the appraisal. We kept saying we wanted to see a car, we're not going to talk about financing if we don't even know what car we're considering. He never explained why he was stalling so much, but it definitely felt like stalling. It had been over an HOUR and we were never shown a single car, and I mean not even a car on the computer screen. So the next time the guy got up, we just left. Enough wasting our time. Tough for them, because I bought a car the next business day, no problem, from a dealer that wasn't shifty like this one.
