I ended up getting a bottle of one of the white because I liked it so much! This place is small but mighty - their craft beer selection was awesome (got some Untitled Art, Weldwerks). My husband found a nice bottle of wine for one of our neighbors who was taking care of our plants while we were gone. We didn't look this place up ahead of time, we got lost trying to find Rocky Mountain Pizza (see my review0 and went the opposite direction and we ended up here, and it was a great accidental finding! I bought two wonderful bottles here: - Wild Roots Marionberry infused vodka; I love Marionberries! - Wood Creek Distillers Limited Edition Seasonal Gin infused with blue butterfly pea flowers, made locally with spring water as I am a big fan (read my reviews on Shoshone, Navajo, Cheyenne and Stratton Springs in Manitou Springs). I actually went back twice during my stay to also get bottled spicy, smoky margaritas and a pineapple daiquiri in small cans that were ready to drink. The service here was super friendly. On our second day, they offered us some free bags of small chips as we bought X-amount. Very nice and friendly and they carry artisanal spirits, that's my kinda place! "Straight On" - Heart…read more I made my way to this store right away (straight on) as it was only a block and a half from the Glenwood La Quinta, and directly across the historic Hotel Colorado. I bet this store stays mainly afloat from all the people from all the hotel traffic that comes across their door, and it's a good thing, because the people here were very friendly. The prices were not exactly bargains, but for the convenience and the walk-a-bility factor in Glenwood: Hotel Glenwood Springs, Hotel Colorado, La Quinta Inn and others, this store is right off the main strip. I managed to find a 6-pack of my favorite beer, a Tropical IPA called "Idol Time" that I had in a local pizza joint. The beer is made in Oregon and has flavors of coconut and pineapple without all the sweet - it was the BEST IPA. I bought a 6-pack and managed to pack it away in my checked luggage without the thing blowing up, which was a big plus, since this beer is non-existent in Hawaii, how ironic, given the fact that it says "Tropical" and has the word "pineapple" and a tiki head on it. Thanks, Springs Liquors, for carrying this. You're my best bud in Glenwood Springs! RETURN FACTOR: Going Straight On for Springs Liquors.

I just got the homemade root beer which was completely underwhelming which was lacking any flavor, lacking in both the earthy taste and in sweetness. The green chili pork with hominy was the soup special I had and it was great. The tortilla strips added a nice crunch and the green chili had a nice spice to it without being overpowering. The fish and chips were alright, with the fish being a bit under salted and the coleslaw being a mushy mess and the tartar being very basic. The fries were nice as they had a nice crisp and were seasoned enough. Our waitress barely ever came by and gave us the check like the restaurant was shutting down but they were still open another hour and other sections were still full. Getting rushed out was a bit odd but didn't ruin the food. Descent enough spot but offers nothing special.

It was perfectly cooked, amazingly seasoned, and the best I've ever had. The veggies were crisp without being raw and the wine was a great addition. The only thing I didn't like was the potatoes because they had a weird flavor to me. Overall, 10/10 highly recommend for the ambiance, the food, the service, and the location!

First off, the most notable thing about this experience was the genuinely most amazing waitress I think I have ever encountered, Grace. Grace was the kindest soul, she took such amazing care of us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Me and my family will go out to eat now and say "she was good but not as good as Grace". Second off, The food was AMAZING per usual. I had the Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly, I usually hate going out for steak because I find it to never be seasoned as much as I'd like but this took the cake. The blue cheese dip with chips was so delicious, like possibly one of the best things we have ever tasted. We also tried to carrot cake sorbet which I know sounds odd but it was so delicious, you can tell the kitchen staff puts their heart and soul into this food. My husband got the special, which was like a Turkish ricotta stuffed pasta and it was AMAZING. Even my sister who got the wagyu burger, AMAZING. My only critique was the hostess was very rude to my family for no reason when we walked in which almost turned my parents off from trying to the most amazing restaurant. Luckily, the service got amazing after that. Everyone was so kind and helping everyone, just a great atmosphere. They also had the Knicks game playing which was great haha. I can't wait to come back next summer for my favorite meal despite living states away we will always make it back to The Pullman.
