There isn't really all that much beyond it being one of those large regional shopping centres. It has all of the major stores (as well as a couple of little gems hidden away), a cinema, and an entertainment strip with restaurants (and a rather ordinary pub). The annoying thing I find about it, especially since I don't own a car, is the length of time it takes me to walk around it to get to the cinema (and home again) on a saturday evening (and late of a Friday night). Oh, and there is never a cab at the cab rank when you actually might need a cab, which is also incredibly annoying.

Rolled the bread wearing no gloves! When I asked ,' why don't you use gloves?' Her answer was, ' cuz no other kebab shop uses it!' Wonder is Subway opposites to it does the same thing! Hygiene is a big issue at Uni hill Factory outlet! Three star - all for amazing big shops with great affordable prices!

There are heaps of shops here covering bedding, homewares, kids clothes and adult fashion. There are also cafes inthin the complex and the outlets are situated in among a little shopping precinct with more cafes and specialty shops (butchers, green grocer etc). Chadstone is major, unfortunately you GP are not. It is significantly smaller then nearby centres, so if you are after a bunch of chain stores with some department stores thrown in (you get either Kmart or Target) your shopping marathon would be better sated in one of the larger neighbours. However that said GP does well as a large local shopping centre. The Plaza can meet all your grocery needs and chain store requirements. The multilevel mall houses over 190 retailers yet the range is limited. This is not the place to head for anything with the word designer in it. The Plaza is best suited to local families and teenagers. The Hoyts Cinema's are small, dark and dingy and not all the major banks have a branch inside. As a teenager I spent hours after school and weekends scouring the Plaza for chain store bargains and just generally killing time. Greensborough Plaza lost me after I left high school and could drive. So my history pretty much sums the Plaza up. It is convenient and family friendly but does little to appeal to shoppers that have learnt to expect more.

I first dropped by after it's opening and was disappointed by the range of retail outlets. In the stores I did venture into I found cast off stock of poor quality and good quality offers without an outlet price tag. I was clearly not the only one left disappointed. The mall was totally deserted. On a Saturday afternoon before Christmas you would expect the buzz of shoppers and bargain hunters. No. I witnessed crickets and tumbleweeds. I didn't give Brand Junction a second chance until today. I was lured in by the giant posters advertising a new look factory outlet experience. Clearly that experience is yet to happen. The experience I had was worse then my initial one. Now half the shops are closed (making way for new retailers I hope) and the atmosphere even less appealing. I will give Uni Hill Factory Outlet one more chance when the overhaul is delivered, but if it fails to deliver then I'm done forever more. Three strikes and your out Brand Junction.

Everywhere you look there's a bargain to be had!…read moreThis place has certainly grown in the last six months and now houses the largest Nike outlet in Melbourne (I believe the one on Smith Street Collingwood relocated here). All the usual suspects are here plus a book store that houses a large array of books, all for $10 each! If you're in the area pop in, if you're not in the area it's probably worth a visit anyway.

There is a Safeway supermarket and liquor store , fresh fruit and vegetables, butchers, bakeries as well as a number of smaller specialty stores. It is really only worth a visit if your a local. It would take around 40 minutes to drive to from inner city Melbourne, and even the 20 minutes it took us would have been better spent at a more local location, but it made a nice change. There is plenty of parking and at at 10am on a Saturday morning it wasn't chaotic which made a welcome change of pace. ATM's and Toilets are available which I wish you could take for granted at all small shopping malls in Australia. if you live in or near St Helena then have all your grocery shopping needs met here.

This shop will provide you with the stock you head to a discount shop for, but it also has cheap home wares, gifts and special occasion decorations. The staff are attentive and will help you find what your in search of but also leave you to browse the long aisles if that is more your speed. Among the tack you will find a few gems.
