They answered all our questions and assured us the choice we picked would work in our yard. It was a good experience and if I ever want another big tree, they will see me again. I did have a problem getting them to call me back when I wanted to talk about picking up and planting the tree ourselves but it all worked out. I give them 4 stars, but if I could give the 4.5, I would have.

They also have unusual edible trees like fig tree and pomegranate tree. Nancy was super friendly and knowledgeable when I called. I was looking for a specific ornamental grasses, and even though that's not something she carries, she put me in touch with people that are. On top of that, she gave me great online resource to look for alternatives grasses so what I plant in my own yard would not be an invasive species to California. Ok, just one more thing. Talk about going above and beyond to a customer that didn't even buy anything, she even introduced me to a contact that does tree grafting via email. Jose, the owner was super helpful and consulted us on location, spacing and care requirements for the 12 plants we purchased. He also offered local delivery! Was especially happy with the tiger canna we got for quite a steal. We did research and decided on Prunus Carolinana aka Cherry Laurel. We checked a number of local nurseries and found poor selection and sky high prices. I found JC Nursery on Yelp and decided a trip to San Martin was in order. It was an easy drive on 85 and 101 and we were so delighted when we arrived. A huge place with tons of plants, trees and flowers. All beautifully organized. Jose helped us to find what we needed and we had so much to choose from. They share a location with another great Nursery called "Happy Face," which I plan on visiting soon. The plant quality was excellent and the prices were fantastic. Plus we took a nice ride in the country and saw all sorts of animals including alpacas. I call that a win! We will be going back soon.

Garden Accents had a very unique variety of Japanese zen garden statues and other types of decor for a variety of landscaping designs (not just Asian themed). But what stood out the most to me was how friendly their staff is. Also, though it may not be obvious from the freeway as you drive by, they have the most adorable gift shop, which has an enchanting zen vibe. Very large and full of unique decor items ranging from hanging glass, wood sculptures, ceramics, and a great selection of tiny fairy garden accessories. Absolutely worth the drive from anywhere!
