This office's business practices embody much of the worst of practices in our broken health care…read moresystem, including the lack of systems and checklists that research (and business experience) proves to be critical in customer service and efficiency. I called Dr. Singh's office to ask about an appointment in which I could have some odd sensations and pains around my shoulders and arms and lower neck examined. The receptionist told me that Dr. Singh did not deal with patients who had "neck problems". I asked her how I could tell if I had "neck problems" as he defined it. However, she had not been trained in answering this question. As a result, she suggested that I either risk wasting my time by waiting two weeks to see Dr. Singh, who might simply refer me to another doctor with an even longer wait time, or that I see the other doctor in one month. The other doctor required a full MRI, I was told. I asked if Dr. Singh could speak with me on the phone for five minutes so as to listen to my description (e.g., I did rupture a disk near my neck years ago) and advise me on how to waste less time and money. E.g., "Yes, that sounds like a neck problem as I define it," etc. The receptionist said "He won't do that." I explained to the receptionist the unnecessary bind this put me in and asked her to pass the information on to the doctor. She said she would do so. I have no knowledge of whether she actually did so; I never got a call back from anyone at the office.

Dr Singh did a total knee replacement and I never got functional. I am active and in my 50's. After…read more13 months of getting no where, I went to Chicago. They did a CT scan (why didn't Singh?) and found that the implant was not put in properly. I had to have the entire surgery redone in Chicago. It was difficult and expensive. I have not walked without a cane or crutch this entire time. I ended up with bleeding and pain. I am getting better with the new surgery, what a difference! And how would one know if it was your first? I DO NOT recoemmend Dr Singh.

Front office staff and scheduling were great. They gave me fast and precise estimates. They were…read morekind an polite. The nursing staff and the provider were horrible. They are on defense immediately if you want to be you own advocate. The doctor knew he was not truly listening to me because he said it himself "my patients say I dont listen to them" instead of correcting it, his ego reared up and he said hey Im the doctor here, you came to me for an opinion. No.. I wasnt looking for an opinion, I was looking for someone to fix the problem and/or give a diagnosis. When I asked if the Xray is going to be best; he stated I need the XRay if he was going to treat me and when I clarified the question intent was if something like an MRI would be better, he said XRays tell more than I know. But news to him, I do know more than he thinks. MRI will see bone and soft tissue, Xray wont. I tried to tell him where exactly the pain is and he shut me down. The nursing staff evidently made it clear to several others that I was a handful maybe because I want to be my own advocate not go through and bow down to all the unnecessary testing which everyone thinks they need because Healthcare says more tests more money. I just wanted to be treated better.

Saw Dr. Miller twice for two separate issues. Going back for knee evaluation…read more Dr. Miller is caring and he explains everything in detail. He is excellent! Very nice office. Receptionists were very welcoming and quickly had me registered.
