There's always a machine or dryer available, and if I need change for the machines (you need at least 4 pound coins for the smaller washing machines) the owner always has plenty to exchange if he's there. He has the smaller washing machines, up to two larger ones (which are only a pound more) to the one extra large washing machine for the more heavy loads. Each wash can take about 25 - 40 minutes depending on what settings and size machine you use. The dryers have visable timers and are £1 for 15 minutes, but for a bigger load I find that £2 for 30 minutes of drying better if you are drying jeans and towels etc, (but you can open the dryer doors to check your clothes then close the door and press the button again and it will continue the rest of your paid for drying cycle).The four large modern dryers are great as they have different heating controls and are easy to use. There's magazines to read while you sit and wait for your washing to be done. They do service washes too at great prices compared to other laundrettes here. So, give it a try!

The massive dryers are 20p per 2 mins or £1 for 10, which is good as they are huge and get super hot so you can put loads of clothes in. The lady who works here greeted me in a friendly manner when I arrived, then the gentleman that works here let me use the 'staff only' dryer when my washing was finished as all the other dryers were in use. Bubbles is nothing unique in terms of price (£4.20 per machine cycle - around £1-2 for drying) but it does benefit from a constant attendant on site, which means you can ask for assistance when needed and also feel comfortable leaving your clothes in the machine if you need to pop next door to the shop. Bubbles also offers service washes and has decent opening hours, which means you can feel safe in the knowledge that there'll always be time to keep your clothes smelling fine.

Most launderettes in the area do work to a high standard but I did have a good laugh with the employees and built up a good rappor immediately. It sounds silly but if you get a good experience in these sorts of places you are much more likely just to pop in again even if it isn't overly urgent. A good benefit is having so many other places so nearby and can do some shopping get a hair cut or rent amovie just to name a few.

There's a TV for those dedicated enough to wait, but because it's also a Dry Cleaners there's always some friendly staff in attendance so we felt confident enough to leave and make use of the numerous local amenities on London Road. We did a months worth service wash for £15.90 and with a wash and dry costing around 2 quid in electricity plus the powder plus the machine costs, for the sheer bulk you can get done, I think its worth it. Also, I like the fact that its all done in one big go, none of this unloading and loading again. If I did have a big family, I can't imagine anything more convenient than doing one giant wash off. And if you live alone, just go once a month, means you will have to get lots more clothes to last you, which is always a good thing.
