Our experience today was great. We rented 3 800cc 4seaters and 1 1000cc 2 seater for a half day trip. We started off great the place is easy to find and the side by sides were fueled up and ready to go the moment we got there. We just hit the trails and whent on a journey whent on a few trails had some fun then followed the power lines around back to the entrance of the trails. We had 13 people 6 were kids under the age of 13years old and everyone had fun. There was good hills and trails and some easy stuff not to many bumps and rocks but once we got out there a bit the fun started it was a great time we thought we went farther but we only did 27.5 miles in 4 hrs between helping another party put there rented side by side back on all 4 tires and stops for photos our time was up and we whent back. Total fuel used was minimal 1.5-3.5 gallons per unit depending on how fast we drove and how many side trails we took while others took breaks. I would recommend this place the kawasaki 800cc did way better then I thought it would have done fairly smooth handled really well and was really easy on fuel. We had 2 female drivers they had no problems and myself on a 800 I own a larger quad and been on larger side by sides and these were a great deal for size price and comfort. I would do this again. Absolutely stunning experience! Me and my girlfriend came from Illinois for vacation and we stopped by Western Offroad Adventures. We chose the half day free roam ride, and he will give you a map and an atv and you can go wherever you'd like. Beautifully kept machines ran perfectly, and a wide selection of 2 and 4 seater vehicles. He also has great customer service! Me and my girlfriend drove down a mountain and got stuck at the bottom, so we called him and he drove out to us and drove up the hill. In other words, he's just a phone call away if you ever get stuck or anything happens to the machine. The scenery you'll see is absolutely mind boggling. There are trails that will lead to a perch where you can just see for miles in every direction, and there is so many trails that even if you chose the 8 he trip you couldn't hit them all. He also has a beautiful home and area where you can wait for an Uber ride (like we did) and just take in the scenery. Water and beverages are supplied if you didn't bring any, as well as any gear you may need (goggles, helmets, gloves, etc) I would highly highly highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed. We drove down a dry riverbed for 2 hours with no problem, just enjoying the day and scenery. 5/5, must go if you visit Scottsdale or anywhere surrounding, or something to always do if you live here. So, several months ago my wife says she wants us to take a trip to Arizona.......to which I replied, "What the heck's in Arizona??? I ain't lost nothing out there." Little did I know what an amazing place it would turn out to be! My wife and I rented a 2-seater side-by-side for a self guided tour of the desert from Western Offroad Adventures and what an adventure it was!!! We first met with Luke who provided us with instructions on the side-by-side, a map of the trails, and a cooler of water.......then we were off for a 4-hour trek! Gosh, I can't explain how much fun we had that day. There were several of the trails that were very challenging, but we put our trust in the side-by-side, switching it to 4WD, and climbed right up the most difficult of them. We saw plenty of wildlife and even saw a couple of tarantulas crossing the paths after dark. I'm a big ole sissy when it comes to spiders, but seeing a tarantula in it's natural habitat was very cool. We spent 4 hours on the trails with the last hour being after dark. We caught a beautiful desert sunset and afterwards just enjoyed the peace of the night stars in the middle of nowhere. Luke was great to deal with and made the process simple and easy. And I guarantee that you won't find a better value on ATV/UTV desert tours than Western Offroad Adventures. We definitely want to take the kids back and rent a 4-seater next time! read more

This is THE place to go for off-roading! Luke is amazing. He runs a one-man-operation, but what more do you need? He always answers his phone and is always so helpful. He will work with you to customize your adventure; just tell him exactly how many hours, how many people, how many machines, guide or no guide, and he will make it happen. My wife and I came here over Thanksgiving with my two boys, and they had the most amazing time driving a 2-seater and a 4-seater. We got lost a couple of times trying to find our way to the main trail, and each time we called Luke and he helped us get back on the right path...even driving out himself once. Once you're in the "trail/park" area, you can drive anywhere you want. There are so many trails to take you'll never be bored, and the machines just fly over any rocks, creaks, streams, brushes, hills, etc. Luke also provides any helmets or goggles you need, plus drinks if it's hot. My kids said this was the highlight of their trip, and they can't wait to go back. Honestly, look no further, this IS the ONLY place you need to try! read more

My experience with Western Offroad Adventures was the highlight of my week trip to Phoenix. The mountain sky is gorgeous and the thrill in speeding up and down the trails is absolutely exhilarating. I was on the fence of whether to drive the distance but I'm overjoyed that I did as it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. The owner is a relatively young, personable, and polite guy who knows the ins-and-outs of the surrounding mountains like the back of his hand. His partner and fiance is just as pleasant to be around. Myself and three others originally planned on spending two to three hours taking a tour but soon decided to extend our tour to five hours and schedule to take vehicles out on a solo run the following day. The owner was more than happy to accommodate and was extremely knowledgeable when explaining where and how to ride. My girlfriend was originally terrified but became very comfortable once she spoke with both the owners. I strongly recommend anyone to experience this for themselves and couldn't think of a better place to go to. read more

Best best best place to rent atv/rzr AMAZING costumer service me and my buddy called him at around noon and asked if there's anything available for rent he told us to come over and that he has a few options , We explained him that we will arrive at 2:00pm and wanted a half day rental ( the price was very reasonable) even though we didn't have enough time he was very nice friendly and flexible and told us that we can still go for 4 hours , he guided us all the way to the place where you can drive off-road and told us that if we need anything we can call him long story short we got stuck trying to go up a sketchy hill and called for help he immediately arrived since he has a gps tracker on all of his vehicles it wasn't hard finding us ! He drove all the way to us , drove the RZR down the hill and gave us a different vehicle to drive which was really appreciated on our side don't know what else to say but if you're looking to rent a off-road vehicle and want reasonable price + best costumer service you can get call this guy he will take care of you read more

We're there while visiting Phoenix last month. This was the great place to experience off-road ATV/UTV rides if you're in town! Luke was extremely friendly to work with and very flexible to suit your needs. Originally we reserved two UTVs but only need one due to some unexpected medical event at the last minute. He had no problem at all to accommodate that. Luke provided us the helmets, goggles and even an ice chest with bottle waters! After that, he guided us to the trailhead and off we went. In the beginning, we were bit of uneasy taking on the self guided tour. But with the map he provide, we were able to get around and had lots of fun. Towards the end, we called Luke to pick us up at the same location he dropped us off. It was a very memorable and fun experience. A big thumps up for Luke and his company! read more

I was in town from Los Angeles and went here with my girlfriend last weekend. We rented a side by side Polaris RZR 1000 and had such a fun time riding around exploring the terrain. Luke was very helpful in explaining the best areas to explore, was very clear and thorough in his directions and provided us with a fairly easy to use map. he has face masks, beverages and snack bars for purchase. There were rivers to cross, mountains to climb, rocks to navigate over and around, flat road to race down and this UTV we had handled it all so easily. We ventured out to the old Native American fort which was really cool and had great views of the river and valley area. We drove right off his property and spent 4hrs having an absolute blast. Absolutely the best place to go if you want to have an unforgettable time. Luke, the owner, is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He's down to earth, super social, and is willing to go out of his way to ensure you have a great experience. His vehicles are super fast and super nice. We rented the Yamaha YXZ, which is a bad hog, and a Kawasaki Teryx 4 seater. Both of the vehicles are new and ran great. We did have a flat tire on one but Luke was very sincere and brought us another spare. Definitely something I recommend doing as off-roading was a blast. I can personally say we will be back again and will for sure go through Western Off-road. It was an experience off a lifetime. read more

We had such an awesome time!! We just did this less than a week ago for spring break, and all of us really enjoyed it. We had four kids and four adults on the trip. The youngest child is 7 and the oldest is 10. It was so cool to be able to go over a wide variety of terrain from water to big boulders!! We were so glad that we had our awesome guide with us. Would have never tried some of the terrain that we did if we did not have him. Was also glad we had him, because we would have had no idea where to go. My wife and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary July 27th 2021. What else could be more fun than off roading in the desert. We rented the RZR 1000...what a blast. Luke and his partner went over what we needed to know about the RZR and pointed us in the right direction and we were off. This is defiantly a bucket list to do. My family rented from Western Off road in April this year and I have to say it was the most fun we have ever had with off road vehicles!! Luke was quite friendly and knowledgeable. The price beat all others I looked at and you didn't need a trailer since you park on their property and ride out from there! That's great for people who are from another state.
