We had to take our Toro lawnmower here due to an issue with smoking and stopping while mowing and this was the only place that would cover the warranty. We got a call a couple weeks later saying it was ready and the only thing they found wrong with it was too much grass piled up. Paid $40 for them to clean grass out and took it home and it still didnt work. Called back, presented the issue that they didn't fix anything and they didn't have any helpful advice. Bought an electric golf cart last July 2023. It ran about 3 months. Broke down and Western had it for 5 months. Still does not run! Lawyer informed me today Massimo offed to buy it back for $3000. The one who answers the phone most of the time is a bitch. If you don't like your job, move on. They act like they are doing you a favor by giving them your business. I've wanted a new deck belt installed for a while but whenever I call they ask, did you purchase it here. If you didn't, you wait. They're only working on equipment bought there. ok....I hesitated before I went in. I don't know why. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I was in search of a Hedge trimmer, a Stihl hedge trimmer to be exact. The salesman was super nice and extremely knowledgable. We talked about hedge trimmers in general for a while, and he talked me into an Echo. Comes with a five year warranty, and they service them too. I was dead set on getting a Stihl, but the salesman was that knowledgable to change my mind. He also convinced me to purchase some good pre-mixed fuel. As I checked out a very nice lady jumped up and processed the order. The salesman took the hedge trimmer and filled it up with fuel and test started it. When he came back he gave a thorough tutorial on the trimmer I will be back, and use them for my future needs. read more

We bought a Bad Boy mower in 2017 from here and a few years later we bought a bagger. The bagger did not function well, so we took it in to insure we installed correctly. The folks at Western looked it over and determined that everything was in order and didn't charge us for the service, they were just happy to help. We came to the conclusion that the bagger was of poor design, and at a cost of $2,000 we figured a refund would be appropriate. When it comes to refunds, we had to deal with Bad Boy directly, which was a nightmare. They would not issue a refund or do anything to try to make it right. We're happy with the mower itself and we were very pleased with Western for their help. We will likely not buy another bad boy brand mower, but would absolutely buy from Western again, should they offer a different brand. When it comes to getting parts, they seem to always have what we need. read more

Took my lawn mower here to be fixed after I got tired of paying the inflated prices that Arco charges in west county. These guys fixed my mower and sharpens the blade for a fraction of what Arco charges. Will definitely w going her again in the future. Well worth the drive. read more

I was very pleased with the service I received. My ride on was not working an they picked it up and dropped it off after they fixed it. They were reasonably priced. It did take a little longer than expected but the young lady who answers the phones was very polite and apologetic, which made the delay acceptable. On no less than three attempts to do business they have successfully managed to deter me from ever attempting again. There is a great Cub Cadet dealer in Rolla, MO that understands customer service and lives by it. They are coming to Ofallon, MO to pick up my Cub Cadet riding mower for FREE. Unlike Western Equipment that wanted to charge me for warranty work because I didn't buy it there. I'm pretty sure there's a franchise agreement violation there. I don't think the business owner or any of the management reads these reviews. If they did, they would train this lady about customer service. Called today to get a price for two replacement 18x9.5 rear riding lawn mower tires. I was quoted $94 per tire mounted on existing wheel. I was shocked as I had another quote for $36 per tire, So I simply added very nicely that I thought that price was a little high and told her about the other quote thinking that maybe she had mistakenly quoted me $94 for both tires, her response was " well there you go" very sharply and the line was disconnected. I am sorry but I believe that is horrible customer service. I am not asking for a price match or anything but I also don't want to be hung up on when I attempted to give them my business and treated as a waste of time. read more

My Husqvarna ZTR mower developed problems starting after it got hot. The team at WLE worked very hard to get the issue resolved! Since they were not able to get the mower to fail when they had it in the shop they consulted with me and we charged out a few parts. I picked it up took it home and it subsequently failed again,, I DO NOT blame WLE for this recurring problem as the unit did not fail when they had it in the shop. What impressed me was they, right in the middle of their busiest season, when i bought the unit back in they got on it immediately was able to resolve the situation and return the mower to me the next day! I purchased a Husqvarna mower with a Honda engine. Recently, it would not start. Since this place was a Husqvarna service center I took it in. The first question they asked, was did I purchase it from them. (Already starting to feel like a second class citizen). Two weeks later I call to see what the status is. They say it needs work that will cost more than the price of a new mower. I went in with a sales receipt showing that it was less than 3 years old, and I wanted it serviced under warranty. They informed me the engine was not covered for 3 years. The engine had a 2 year warranty. GREAT! I said, it was purchased less than 2 years ago. Well, they said..since it has a Honda engine we don't service them. I called Husqvarna, and they tell me this place is a service center, and they have never heard of a service center refusing warranty because it is a Honda engine. I will NEVER darken the door of this place again. read more
