The demo crew cleared out the old insulation and prepped the attic. The install crew put in the radiant barrier and the rockwool. They were tough, trustworthy, and respectful of my home. They kept the dust down, protected everything inside, and cleaned up afterward. They did solid work and I'd hire them again without hesitation.

A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.
