House built end of 2014 and by cold weather in 2018 (~Oct) every window has excessive moisture buildup causing mold issues. Sliding doors jam up badly also. Wouldn't use again and will be replacing with someone reputable. read more

HorribleExperience! We ordered windows through West Tech because Kevin talks a good game. He doesn't actually follow through on what he says he will do. We found Kevin did not include important details in the original order we placed. We did not receive notice of delivery date/tim--had to track it down. The windows we received were wrong. We contacted Kevin and he blamed usnfor the mistake. We reached out to connect with his boss but was redirected to Kevin who committed to making it right by re-ordering the windows at the specifications we required. From his email- "...sorry, I missed this email. We'll make two windows egress with grills. I'll have them rushed through production at no cost to you and Steve. We'll pick up two of the four windows that were delivered," A month later, with no word on this re-order, we reach out to learn he did not submit the order. July 18, he stated "Ya, this is a real boondoggle, we just can't seem to communicate very well. I've been dealing with Stephen via text messages, and you via email. I've read through his texts and your emails, I have the grill work stuff here and it's ready to go. I'll rush production of the egress awning windows with bug screens and the flippy door to access the hardware. I'll make this my only priority this week. I want this resolved as badly as you do...believe me. Cheers, Kevin." A week later, we reached out for an update and Surprise! The windows were not rushed to production. With more name calling from Kevin, we cut off contact and will deal with the wrong windows we have. Highly recommend you avoid this company!!!!! read more

We built a new home and bought windows from Westeck Windows & Doors locally. At the time of purchase, our sales person gave us plenty of assurances regarding Westeck standing behind their product and that they had a great warranty. My bad, I never actually obtained a copy of the warranty at the time of purchase. Well, after barely 4 years we have recently had the locking levers on two windows break off in our hands within a week of each other. A search of the Westeck website for "warranty" generates some old complementary testimonials but not any actual warranty information. We contacted Westeck for warranty replacement only to find out that the warranty is only two years on their windows but that they would be happy to send a tech out to make the repair starting at ~$250 for one handle. My wife indicated that the local person in Victoria that she talked to was a bit rude and was not in the slightest concerned about how we felt regarding the warranty nor any potential loss of business as we advise our friend network regarding our experience. I do not typically go out of my way nor waste my time creating negative reviews but at a time when many are renovating their homes, I thought others might benefit from my experience. Just a cautionary tale to make sure you have a thorough understanding of your warranty when making such a large purchase and to advise readers that I cannot recommend Westeck Windows and Doors as a service provider read more

Tried to be a customer.....Company came highly recommended....But have had not a good experience.....I contacted the Kelowna division Sept 26th...Gave the rep my dimensions and stats for 11 windows, and was promised a quick call back on a quote.....Rep contacted me Oct 12th to say "sorry for delay....computer issues....but I would FOR SURE get a quote within the week" It is now Nov 6th....6 weeks later....no further contact by Westeck....no quote....my builder installer has moved on....I am not happy and would not recommend this company if this is an example of service. I ordered windows from westeck and they have been delayed twice now, this company doesn't seem to have control over the production team as the windows were to be delivered today and they emails yesterday(not even a call) and said they windows will be delayed a another week. The worst of it is, that I have the installer booked for tomorrow and he wants to get paid for a short notice cancelation and can't come back till Jan 2022. Left a message/emailed and still no call back from the manager or production team....and to top it off my sales person has quit. Lastly they have my money as I paid in full read more

We just received our new windows and doors from Westeck Windows. The delivery guys were so nice and helpful. We haven't installed them just yet, but everything looks amazing. Especially the front door. We were a little hesitant to purchase from Westeck because they are a little more expensive than other window companies, but we are so glad we did. The quality looks great and they were very easy to deal with. read more

I would use theses guys again! form the sales experience to the installers top notch crew

We bought Westek windows and patio doors for our entire house renovation in 2006. Many of the latches and locks have broken. The patio slider latches no longer hold, and the track lock is the only thing that keeps the door secure. The window latches have failed on 4 of 8 windows. All the screen surrounds or plastic frames have yellowed and some have cracked and look cheap. If I were to buy windows again, I would definitely look for a better product. read more

Ordered 12 windows for our renovations. We ordered the windows only to have one delivered without the frame and another were the screw was stripped. We contacted westeck only to find out the rep we bought from got fired or quit. The new rep blamed us for not looking over the order, though our original order says windows need the frames. Rep said we would have to pay for the frame and new window when it was their fault. We continued to be on contact with them, only to have the rep not email/call back. We left a message to speak to the manager a few weeks ago, no contact has been made. What company doesn't contact customers when They are unhappy, and blamed customers? our contractor has said he is taking all his business elsewhere. read more

We can't say enough about our windows. This is our first winter with them and I can't believe the difference. I can actually lean up against the window and feel no cold! read more

Westeck has been a pleasure to work with. We have a new house build and the windows and doors are so so nice. Unfortunately one of our windows was smashed during construction. It was a very easy call to Westeck, filled out a form and they called a few days in advance to schedule the repair. Fixed it as schedule and it looks as good as new. Very happy with them overall and would highly recommend them! read more

We are so so happy with our experience with Westeck. Our deadline was moved up by our builder and Westeck was able to deliver in time even though we had many custom elements (circle & oval windows, wood doors with full grids etc). I've never cared much about windows/doors until my experience with Westeck - the windows and doors are as beautiful as art and I have a new appreciate for the meticulous detail and quality Westeck provides. We would highly recommend working with them and will certainly use them on our next house build! read more
