Ever since the "back to sleep" campaign in 1994, parents have been advised to sleep their babies on their backs. What pediatricians and physicians at discharge from the hospital fail to tell parents is that this may cause some babies to develop flats spots on their heads as their skulls are very soft. Our baby was always a great sleeper so he developed a mild flattening on the back of his head. We were advised to visit Cranial Tech for a Doc Band (aka helmet). The original white band looked too pharmaceutical so we decided that if Luca was stuck wearing this device on his head for weeks then we might as well embrace it and pimp it out! DJ saved the day! Vinylvigilante traveled all the way to Summit, NJ from Yonkers (in traffic) to complete the doc band wrapping. He brought the materials we asked for and it came out adorable! Pictures attached. When we went for our checkup everyone in the waiting room couldn't believe how adorable he looked and how well the wrap was executed! We got a pretty plain design for $100 an hour and a half later. Pretty cheap considering DJ traveled all the way from Yonkers and took such care with the wrapping. He was also super knowledgeable about doc bands and the rationale behind them. Definitely recommend Vinylvigilante for any wrapping needs.
