Waited more than 24 hours for a response and when we did get one it was the Realty 3 agent contacting my agent asking if it was my highest and best offer. I countered with a 10k higher offer and they took someone else's offer for less money and who's offer came after mine. My wife was actually in tears over this and is utterly heartbroken along with myself. This is no way to conduct business. It is totally unprofessional and prejudicial in every way. I would not recommend this agency to anyone and will be inquiring to see if there is some type of recourse and an oversight agency for ethics violations.

Now I'm stuck battling this issue out with our landlord. This isn't something I wish on anyone who's paying good money to rent and be independent. Terrible shady people. Not to mention not very knowledgeable on basic renting questions that I had. The response that I received to my questions was "I don't know I don't live here." Do better A-List more like F-list. I would give - stars if I could. Specifically David and Grant in the West Hartford location.

We rented through A-List apartments when we first moved to West Hartford about 2 years ago. To say…read morethey were unprofessional would be an understatement. We were not told when moving in, that many of the apartments in our complex were reserved for low-income households. The majority of our neighbors did not work, and would loiter outside all day and all night. They would invite friends over constantly, and loud groups of cars would be in and out of the parking lot. We will take responsibility for not recognizing this, as we could have done further research or asked more questions before renting this apartment. We were young and eager to move into our first apartment. There is, however, no excuse for the lack of communication & professionalism with any complaints we had about our unit. We had MULTIPLE issues with our apartment's electricity, water (leaking/flooding from the upstairs unit), and safety (the windows would pop out of the unit, none of the fire alarms were up to code, and our oven started leaking gas). We had no direct line for maintenance. The number we'd been given was a machine automated answering service. We'd call multiple times and leave various messages for days on end and receive no response. When someone did ultimately call back once, they called from a blocked number so we still had no direct line of communication that we could contact again. After about 6 months of this, we tried to approach management. Rob Koff was the absolute most unprofessional and immature "adult" I have ever dealt with. He came on the attack, was completely unapologetic, acknowledged that the unit we were in was oversold (shows how desperately he will try to make a sale), and yelled and laughed at us over the phone. I have never been spoken to by a "professional" like this in my entire life, and never will again, as I will certainly never be dealing with A-List properties again. I do hate to generalize based off one experience. It seems from other reviews that other affiliates of A-List Apartments set the bar significantly higher than Rob Koff does. I hope that is the case! A-List - do yourself a favor and do not let your name be dragged down by such an unprofessional.

The house was older and smaller and not in the most desirable location. This was definitely not a real estate agency's dream house to sell. There were not going to be any huge commissions here or droves of buyers lined up. But, to my surprise, that did not matter. My house was given the same marketing and attention a fancier home might have received. I visited Mary Ann at her office on a Thursday and an open house was set up for that Saturday! It resulted in an offer that took time to come to fruition due to the buyer's inability to get financing. In the mean time, she had several more showings and open houses. I was impressed at how much attention my parent's home received and how much effort she put in and how hard Bannon & Hebert worked to sell it. The result was several offers with the house going, for more than I expected, to the initial buyer. B&H facilitated the entire process making it easy and convenient for me. All I did was show up at the closing. If I'm ever in the market again, I'd use them again.

The units are clean, affordable and in my experience, occupied by people that I am happy to call neighbors. Reasonable requests and safety concerns are addressed quickly and staff is easily reachable in the rare event of an emergency. About a year ago there was accidental apartment fire and the response from Silver City Properties was quick, attentive and professional. A representative from the company was on site within minutes to address any tenants concerns and all of the damages were repaired swiftly. They even provided an apartment for the tenant that would have been otherwise displaced by the fire that they caused. I have seen other landlords do ANYTHING in their power to avoid spending money, even at the expense of their own tenants safety or well being. I can confidently say that Silver City Properties has a great deal of integrity and understands the needs of their tenants. I have recommended their services to multiples friends and family members and will happily continue to do so.

Two different addresses are associated with Silver City Properties (one being an unmarked business location in Wallingford, CT and another in Meriden, CT on Grove Street). The location on Grove Street has the front door is locked at all times per the sign. The building may sell firearms and can provide Bails Bond services. A current google review from 3 months ago (March 2024) may accurately reflect Silver City Properties current business practices. The review stated when actually renting a property was "Please rent at your own risk".
