He never disclosed that the realtor was his wife to that friend of mine or to myself. The realtor was not any better; she didn't disclose that information either. It finally came about when it was noticed that they had the same last name as the emails became more frequent. The realtor deserves her own 1-star review. Inexperienced, but never disclosed that she was new to that industry. Made it seem like she was doing it for years. The loan officer, the husband, knew just how important this home purchase was, and still chose not to disclose any of that information. In addition to all that, the loan officer did not make sure all of the documents were in order and that the processor was actually doing what was supposed to be done. I complained so many times about his processor. They made so many mistakes that caused me to lose out on some first-time homebuyer benefits. It was an all-around horrible experience. Not to mention, the loan officer didn't even know how to properly address me in our first few initial conversations. He turned me off so badly, I wanted to say, "Forget the whole thing." I later found out I could have switched lenders. Had I known that information, I definitely would have stopped the process and gone to another lender immediately. I totally regret that whole experience I had with LoanDepot. I would not recommend this company at all.
