Not too happy with the student to teacher ratio, although the teacher is great. However, it is not the pure Montessori program you pay a premium for. Program changes and outside programming ( student nurses?!?) have eroded this once wonderful program. Beware - before you write a cheque make sure you fully investigate the program. This place is brutal, the workers are nice, the driving instructors are also nice but make no sense during the driving session. No one can understand what they are saying most of the time, and they will dock points or flat out fail you for things that you did right. Its absurd. It is a scam. I have been scammed 400$ now on a driving test over things that I did right that did not meet their standards. Also, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. Not even a little bit. 200$ for being human and making mistakes is a huge penalty. Please, please, please, go to Calgarys driving place. They will make up some random thing you did to fail you. It is such a money grab. Please don't waste your money on this company. As well as the driving training, it is absurd. I could go all day on that too. They make you make illegal turns and then blame it on you. And it is crazy hard to even pass their driving training course 'mini test' They take you to downtown calgary at rush hour and give very late instructions and get mad at you for missing it even though they were in the wrong. So with all my heart and my concern with people waisting money, please, don't even encourage them to steal your money and waste it. They find random things to fail you on in the driving test making you pay more money for the next one and their driving training taught me absolutley nothing. Im now 400$ short, cant get it back. Well, I haven't ever used this business, however, I have had some experience with them. While…read moredriving on a rural road (RR52, I think), when lawful to do so, I used my turn indicator (while maintaining posted speed limit) and legally passed on the left a vehicle with a COCHRANE DRIVING ACADEMY sign on the drivers door. The vehicle was well under the 80 km speed limit and conditions were exemplary on a paved road. Upon passing, a passenger noted that the driver of the vehicle proudly put up a middle finger salute as we overtook and signalled to come back into the correct lane. There was absolutely NO NEED for this and even if we did something wrong, a DRIVING INSTRUCTOR should be above this kind of road rage incident. Hope this isn't what they teach students.
