I entered the store with my toddler and observed the line forming in aisle 13 for the pharmacy, where another parent and child were already waiting. I made sure to walk my son around to stand behind them in an orderly and respectful way. When it was almost our turn, the pharmacy tech looked at me and told me that the line was actually in aisle 12, despite the fact that the two customers ahead of me had not been corrected and there were no signs indicating where the line should be. It felt as though I was being singled out. I complied and moved, but the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. Situations like this can easily come across as biased or discriminatory, and CVS should take steps to ensure all customers are treated equally and consistently. This experience made me question whether I was treated differently because of how I look, and that should never happen in a place of business. Needless to say, regardless of its convenience, we will never step foot in this CVS pharmacy again.
