If you are a shoe-ista and haven't heard of this Danish brand, you need to check them out! Max's also carries Fly London, Miz Mooz and ART, among other brands. I've never used Max's for shoe repair because I am faithful to Dang at Westboro Shoe Rebuilders but I love going to Max's to check out their shoes!! Max's also carries shoes and shoe care supplies. Some of the brands I have never heard of, but there were some cool shoes! Some of them were unique, but in a cool way. It's difficult to explain, but check out their website to see what I'm talking about. The shoe care supplies all seem to be of good quality. I don't often get my shoes fixed so I'm not experienced with shoe repair places. I dropped off 1 pair of boots and 1 pair of wedges, both has worn out heels. The gentleman whom I assumed owns this business said they would be ready in 1 week and provided me with a receipt. When I returned one week later, he said he was still working on the shoes to be ready for this same day. I had come to pick them up at 5:30pm... you would have thought they'd be ready by now!? I was annoyed but he assured he would finish them for me within 15 minutes so I agreed to wait. It was more like 25 minutes. Despite the wait, his work was good. The heels on both shoes looked new and he even shined the shoes so there wouldn't be marks. It cost me a total of 33$ for both pairs, taxes in. I'm not sure how much it would have cost me elsewhere so I can't compare. Is that expensive? I would probably return just due to the fact that it is in a convenient location for me, but I would pick up a day later then scheduled so I don't have to wait again.
