West Wind Kennels, LLC started out as a gun dog training facility. We have now expanded our services to also included pet boarding. The facility has been newly remodeled and expanded.

Meet the Business Owner: Valerie P.

I started West Wind Kennels, LLC when I saw a need for training gun dogs that needed a softer and gentler touch. I have now been training for over 20 years. I saw the need to expand to boarding pets when I was getting request from the my clients to take care of their dogs while they were away on vacation. My love of dogs started at an early age and I received my first dog at age 5. I remember taking the AKC book of dogs and putting a mark on almost every dog in the book that I wanted to have some day. Big, small, long hair, short hair it did not matter. Boarding dogs gives me the opportunity to have that variety.
