TrailManor TM Industries LLC…read more42067 268th St, Parkston, SD 57366 phone 605-597-3589 My husband and I had planned and prepared for retirement. January 2025 we went to the Tampa Super RV Show We came upon a Trail Manor RV that was set up. We had never seen such a trailer and instantly loved it. My husband talked to Randal from Ideal RV, Lakeland FL for 6 hours asking many questions regarding the entire Trailer. We were assured by Randal - Ideal RV, Lakeland FL that not only is the trailer very well built, but the Trail Manor Company was excellent in responding to owners with any questions or repairs needed. We were told they had excellent customer service. With all that being said, we decided to wait 24 hours to decide to make this big jump into owning an RV. We did just that, and talked to family who were all excited for us - as we were excited and we came closer to retirement. We got our trailer home, retired and prepared to travel with it camping, spending time with our grandchildren camping and sight seeing. Upon doing this my husband discovered the water pump to have water flowing in Trailer for all our needs was NOT working. He also discovered that the Braking System in the trailer also was not working, Both were defective. My husband contacted Randal at Ideal RV in Lakeland FL and received ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE from him!!! My husband then contacted Trail Manor in South Dakota, and it seemed like they would help us. We purchased a Brand New Trail Manor RV and should not have DEFECTIVE - Inoperable parts. We wanted to believe the best of Trail Manor as were told when purchasing the RV. As we came closer and closer to our retirement day, and traveling with our young grandchildren, we would definitely need flowing water for bathing, cooking, cleaning. However the water pump would not work. We also definitely would need the braking system on the Trail Manor to be working properly. We did not want to travel and "hope" all would be OK. We needed to KNOW that all the brakes would work with children traveling with us -- and for our own assurance! My husband was told by Trail Manor that is was OK to get a Mobile repairman for the water pump. A repairman came to our home, took out the water pump - finding it was CORRODED all around the unit ! The water pump was corroded all around, on our NEW 2025 Trail Manor! This is just wrong. We had the water pump repaired/replaced. Trail Manor is now refusing to reimburse us for the full cost of the repair. This is just so wrong! So much for the great customer Trail Manor provides.! They DO NOT provided professional, customer service - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They sent a fraction of the cost (we have NOT cashed that) and refused to cover the full cost. We were preparing to do a lot of traveling with our grandchildren and had to get it repaired. Trail Manor was informed of this, and did not care. As for the breaking system on the trailer, we took it to our Mechanic. The Head Mechanic thoroughly checked our truck and the wiring to the trailer as well as the Trail Manor RV braking system. The problem was found in the braking system. Once again, this is a brand new 2025 trailer, it should not have defective inoperable parts. The Head Mechanic was able to repair the braking system wiring were the installed wire (by Trail Manor in South Dakota, was NOT transmitting the information for brakes to work. Our amazing mechanic was able to find and repair the issue. We were so thankful. Trail Manor has been sent the bill for that and have denied receiving it. We emailed Trail Manor several times , and still have not been reimbursed. STAY AWAY from Trail Manor Trailers. Several failures on the trailer (those were the big ones) and Customer Service is Horrible !

C & S Truck Sales - Lots of hood clearance with correct install.

UPDATE C&S attempted…read moreto mount a Herd Aero Bumper/Grille Guard on my Peterbilt 579. ($5,701.37 ). Out of the first three pieces of the bumper kit, C&S installed both side mounting brackets incorrectly--each was mounted on the wrong side, upside down. On each bracket, they could only fit three of the four required bolts, yet still called the job complete. The installation manual clearly illustrates how the parts should be mounted correctly. Because of this poor workmanship, the bumper was mounted so badly that my hood wouldn't even open fully. When I called Charlie, the boss, he repeatedly told me to drive back so he could fix it. I asked him to at least share in my expense of giving his shop a second chance. His response was: "you sound like a real asshole." I had no choice but to disassemble and reassemble the bumper myself following Herd's instructions. I'll update again if Charlie decides to refund the $240 installation fee I paid. I've already notified Herd's operations and sales leaders about the situation, and they are aware. I think instead of insulting me, Charlie should have paid more attention to managing his shop. Advice from my personal $5700+ experience: scroll past C&S Truck Sales. Stephen Porter I paid $5,701.37 for a Herd Aero bumper grill, professionally installed on my Peterbilt 579. The work was completed, I paid in full, and drove an hour back home--only to find the hood would not open fully because the bumper had been mounted too high. When I called Charlie, the boss, he said they'd fix it if I drove the truck back. I asked if they could send someone to me or at least compensate me for the time and cost of running a semi back to Pukwana. His response was, "That ain't gonna happen". About the failed professional install, he said "hey, these things happen". When Natalia at Herd Manufacturing followed up on my behalf to speak with C&S, she was told that the person who had taken the order wasn't working there anymore, so there was nothing C&S Truck Sales could do. The shop guy mounts it wrong, and C&S blames the guy that took the order. What makes this worse is that while I was waiting for my install, I heard Charlie tell an employee that one of his guys in the shop wasn't doing good enough work, and that he might need to start doing quality control on him. Sure enough, that's exactly what I got: poor work. Herd's operations and sales leader, Leo Nelson, told me it would be fair for C&S Truck Sales to compensate me for the extra time and expense to return with the truck, since they had already been paid to professionally install. When I brought that back to Charlie, his response was: "You sound like a real asshole." For a $5,700+ job, I expected professional work and professional treatment. Instead, I got a bad install, zero accountability, and open disrespect from the boss.
