I 100% recommend bringing your fur babies to see Dr. Terraza. I can't even tell you how great he is by explaining everything to the T!!! He did my little guys surgery once and now he's gonna be scheduled to do the second one again soon. He doesn't tell you some BS nonsense to get your money. He actually helps you by taking alternate routes on what is best for your furry. Additionally one of the technicians Letty is sooooo caring. The other techs are also very caring but Letty has gone above and beyond in helping care more for my furry guy before and after his surgery. I highly recommend this place if you see Dr. Terraza. read more

I wanted to share my 10-star experience with West Texas Vet Services and the outstanding care my fur baby received from Dr. Terrazas and team. From the moment we walked through the door, Dr. Terrazas, Roberta, and the entire team helped us feel welcomed and at ease. Dr. Terrazas took the time to thoroughly explain all procedures in a way I could clearly understand and answered all of my questions with patience and empathy. Most importantly, Dr. Terrazas also demonstrated true caring nature for Simba's total wellbeing. Roberta provided exceptional customer service during the entire process. She was attentive to my needs and made (what could be a stressful situation) more relaxed. I appreciate how the entire team at West Texas Vet Services shows heartfelt sincerity in everything they do. I cannot recommend Dr. Terrazas and West Texas Vet Services enough. Thank you for providing such outstanding and compassionate care for my fur-baby. read more

Dr. Fred welcomed us, asked us questions & made us feel at ease immediately! He is very knowledgeable & Gabe is lots of great information for a new puppy. It was our first time ever to the vet. My son got a puppy for Christmas, his first, and we couldn't have picked a better place/doctor! The veterinarian, Dr.Terrazas, saw us promptly. He began the wellness check up for the pup w/such confidence and grace w/the puppy. I know this sounds like too much fluff, but when it's your first pet you want your child to witness this type of loving care. Dr. Terrazas was very knowledgeable. He immediately found some issues that we hadn't event prepared for! For example, our pup has a heart murmur. He educated us about the condition and provided some next steps. He was so kind w/the pup. He made us feel so welcomed, like family. I highly recommend Dr. Terrazas & his team for all your animal care & needs. He was great!!!! See read more

Beware when taking your animal here .Took my cat in for a consultation and instead they kept adding to bill not telling us what was going on and every time we asked they just kept saying the Dr Terraza was going meet with us 2 hours later we ended up with a 500$bill and a rolled up splint of cotton nothing to even support the cats paw which she removed quickly, didn't even last .What a waste of time and money . Had to take her to a new place where she was cared for immediately and a wrapped up with so much support. read more

I normally recommend this place to all my fellow pet parents. I took my baby in to be seen two weeks ago without any testing the vet immediately suggested it may be distemper even tho her symptoms were not consistent with distemper. Took her back in last week and suggested my pup may have puppy strangles without even checking her out vet immediately sent vet tech out to suggest I have her hospitalized. Even tho symptoms are not consistent with distemper.. vet tech even said he saw my pup have mouth twitching which I have never noticed once. My puppy has been active, and happy. Decided to get a second opinion at northeast vet clinic where the veterinarian listened to me and agreed my happy playful pup does not have distemper. Will not be bringing any of my pups here and will not be recommending. read more

When this place initially opened they had the best service, very caring staff and Dr. Terrazas was the only Dr. there so our visits were sometimes long, but very worthwhile and pleasant. Well now fast forward a few years, boy has this place gone downhill in all aspects! What a shame and waste of time and money. What's worse? It's the same exact staff, except for Dr. Terrazas. I'm not sure he's there at all anymore. No one likes taking their pets to see a veterinarian because most likely the pet is sick or needing some type of medical attention, obviously. This place is not the place you or your pet want to be when those things are already weighing on your emotions. These people, from the front staff to Dr. Ellis, are nothing except rude and condescending. They are no longer in the business of helping animals. They just need the job. Go somewhere, anywhere else, please, for your sanity and your pet's well being. read more

Worse service. The vet is incompetent and made us wait to 5 hours to be seen. Lack of treatment and care. Look at the other reviews in Google. Run from this place. read more

This place is by the far the best in el paso. The staff are EXTREMELY helpful, KNOWLEDGEABLE and seem to really care about your pet. The two staff members I dealt with made sure all my questions were answered and concerns were taken care of. They don't try to guilt you into purchasing services that your pet doesn't need, they are to the point and sincere. Prices are the cheapest I've seen. read more

Not the worst vet I've been to in El Paso but waiting an hour in the parking lot after having to call their office to find out if my kittens were ready to be picked up was really frustrating. The staff was nice enough but I don't appreciate it when someone can't respect our time for something so basic as telling me when to pick up my pets. Prices were fantastic, staff was friendly, but the delay in the parking lot and the failure to call were frustrating read more

Went to the vet for my 17 year old dog back in august because he had been struggling to walk they put him on pain meds and was walking a week later but said he doesn't have a good quality of life and recommended putting him down. Now it is late April and my dog is struggling to walk again and has lost weight. Went to get his pain meds refilled and the doctor stated, "I'm giving him a month worth of pain meds for him but anything longer I can't." She had the "quality of life" talk with us as stated on the invoice. We told her we had a plan to put him at rest but was very pushy stating "but if you want to do it sooner." We then reiterated to her my husband and I have to take leave so we have a plan to do it. I feel like they are so corporate and not personal. The doctor was very scripted and not genuine. I get it she has a job to do but maybe act like you have a little bit of compassion. I will not be taking any of my dogs here in the future. read more

This vet is honestly such a blessing. Recently went to my other vet for a quote on a dental cleaning, and lipoma removal and they were going to charge me $855.00. I called Dr. Terrazas because he had previously spayed my sisters dog and they offered the same services for $180.00! They were so sweet with my nervous dog when we arrived, and he came out happy as ever. His teeth looked perfectly white too. His lipoma was removed and he is a happy dude. I highly recommend going to this vet. read more
