I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had both my sons enrolled. One in math and one in…read morereading. The owner is very rude. She listed her expectations which we followed. I provided our vacation times so could have work prepared. She did not have the work prepared and was rude when I asked for it. She automatically said we never told her this. She found the email that we sent and had someone go up to the office to pull the work which was incorrect. My son is receiving tutoring in math and we received reading material. When I called to tell her this and what are we suppose to do, she simply said he will just have to pick it up again when we get back. (After explaining the importance of doing this every day.) I pulled my boys at the begining of the month which we had already paid for. She continued to charge us for the next month as well. *I do want to put out there that I did contact the main KUMON office and they were helpful and truly cared about my experiance* maybe my experiance would have been better at a different location.

You would think it's a small school but it actually has a lot of international students who live on campus. They are faith based and have numerous athletic programs that compete with other schools. Their Early Learning Center is open pretty much all year which is a huge help to working parents. There is an Elementary & Middle School together and HS in a separate building. They have their own gymnasium and athletic fields. Teachers here are great and friendly in a welcoming environment and atmosphere. If you are looking for a faith based private school, go take a tour.

There is little advocacy for children, and the parents are afraid to say a word, lest their children become targets. The administration ambushes teachers at every turn, and I expected better than average academics from a private school. And, the well-known problem with bullying never gets addressed. Summit talks a good game, but they sidestep problems that cause significant issues for children. Don't put your child's education at risk; see you at FCDS.
