There is nothing here ...this mall is slowly dying it seems but there is a tax collector office / DMV here which is pretty nice and clean

I've shopped here since this mall opened and witnessed its decline from a busy mall to a ghost town. It used to have all the standard stores and the lot was always packed. Now the place is half empty. Oh how I will miss Ruby Tuesdays which I ate lunch at every weekend. The only remaining good stores are Dillards, Victoria's Secret, and Bath & Body Works. Even Sears recently pulled up stakes. There still remains a decent theater but I can't recall seeing anything there in recent times. There is one good aspect to note. I was in desperate need of a floor length formal dress that was not prom-esque since I was invited last minute to a gala. I visited all the stores in Orlando: Prime Outlet, Premium Outlet, FL mall (Check out Camille's for beautiful $$$ gowns though!), Millenia, Festival, and few other stores like Formal Spot in Winter Garden Village and I didn't have any success. This was a Monday immediately after Black Friday weekend so inventory was low in size smalls at the stores. I remember coming to this mall in middle school to go to the movies and shop and it was bustling. Now the mall is a complete ghost town...which I prefer. Less people means cleaner stores and more parking for me! I enjoy shopping in peace rather fighting through throngs of tourists. I knew West Oaks had a Dillards and I was hoping to find something in my size. Surprisingly for such a ghost mall they had a handful for stores that specialized in selling formal wear at affordable prices. Some of them even do same day in-store hemming for gowns as well. The stores are no upscale boutiques but they do contain a moderate selection of long formal gowns They also had a TON of bargain shoe stores like Traffic, Bell's Shoes, and etc. that sold heels. This is no upscale Millenia Mall but it served it's purpose for me. I got in and got out and with no problems and found what I was looking for: formal dress, shoes, and accessories at an affordable price in under two hours. I visited the store during the day and I encountered no problems. However, I would be wary of visiting at night. So if you're looking for gowns/formal wear or bargain heels check out this mall. read more

Good evening! I had to post a star. But they do not deserve a star. Nothing against the mall. This mall is very quiet and basically what you need is in this mall. I ran into Coney's restaurant. The customer service from both owners are disgusting. They wouldn't know hospitality if it hit them in the face. They should go out business because of poor customer service. read more

Yuck. This is a dying mall. Not much going on in there. The wing along Dillard's is especially desolate. Outside of going here for Dillard's, I really can't see coming here for any other reason. The Dillard's is an outlet so all sales are final. The mall itself is huge. It's also dirty. Food that people missed throwing into the garbage can just littered all over. Food court is probably at 1/2 vacancy. You'd think they could keep this place cleaner with the lack of people. Not worth driving to for me since I'm near UCF. read more

What a sad, sad place this has turned into. Like other Yelpers on this page, I remember just how great this place was, so long ago! The F.Y.E., the Hot Topic, the brand name clothing stores, Mickey D's, the tea place in the food court. (The list goes on...) Someone else on here called this a shell of what it used to be, and I can't describe it better than that! The few remaining stores have nothing impressive to offer, and some of the store workers are angry and rude! (The guy at the comic book store was the worst I've ever met! He started an argument with me the moment I came in!) I absolutely detest what has happened to this mall! It is an absolute shame! I sure hope somebody revives it or bulldozes it, because right now, this is a pit of despair. read more

It's just a down right empty mall that use to consist of greatness, all I could think about when coming here was the "once was." All of West Oaks perks are now buried under empty store lots with minimal amounts of human beings walking around. This mall had alot of potential considering the fact that most Ocoee and Clermont folks would come here to get their shop on...now it's like a semi-deserted mall. I really hope the best for the mall since they have businesses there that have been hanging on a string. All I would come here is for the Wet Seal, Express, or Journeys but then again FL mall has all those stores plus more. The Orlando mall giants have made this mall seem teeny. =( read more

I was here with my best friend just last weekend, and I don't agree with the other reviews I've read. There were lots of people in the mall on Saturday, and it was kinda loud too. The food court is OK, but the food was a little bland for my liking, but when you're really hungry, that makes no difference. The stores are very clean and weren't crowded at all like most malls I've visited recently. They have a fairly decent selection, and offers much more than Fashion Square, (ugh!). Other than that, it's not too big of a deal. Very nice, clean, cool inside, and smells pretty good thanks to their air fresheners. They also play music over the intercom, unlike many malls these days. That it a plus for me anywhere. I'd recommend West Oaks Mall for a day or night on the town. :) read more

I call this the Fashion Square of the West. This is a pretty standard mall for those living west of the city. It has all the typical mall stores as well as a large food court. And even the West Oaks 14 movie theater. No its not the nicest mall in Orlando and it doesn't have the most upscale retailers but for those in this area its a great option for your regular day at the mall. In the way of department stores you'll find Dillard's, JC Penney, Belk, and Sears. Express, As far as stores you'll find at every mall there's a Charlotte Russe, Holister, and American Eagle. There's also an assortment of accessory, bath and beauty, and jewelery stores completing the definition. West Oaks has all the ingredients of a mall, its ready for those who need to pick up a few things or do some heavy shopping and want to do so under one roof. read more

I recently moved to Florida and have been looking for a place to thread my eyebrows, my brother took me to brow art 23 and I have to say I'm shocked at how badly my brows are ruined. I went in needing a touch up and left with uneven differently shaped brows. I can't believe that place is still in business. She rushed through the process and ruined my arch making one eyebrow look shorter then the other as well. Do t go there, ever! read more

I only walked into Dillards and Payless so didn't see much of the mall. The Dillards is very vintage and doesn't have a great selection. The mall looks like updates have never occurred. read more

I spent lots of time there when i was little and I got lost in the crowds. Now, there is no one, its so creepy. Stores are always opening and closing down, and opening again. Its like every store there is destined to go out of buisness lol. read more

I visited this mall after moving to the area over a year ago and I went in today to see if its improved or gotten closer to being a truly dead mall.Unfortunately its not good,this mall is on life support,which is sad as its a really nice looking mall,the food court with the movie theater and carousel is gorgeous.Just too many things going against it right now,the nationwide trend away from traditional malls,competition from the outlets and other shopping areas like Winter Garden village and a reputation about crime in the area,the movie theater offers $4 movies and it still looks dead,that says it all.As nice as the mall is I dont see it getting better,too many things need to change for it to improve. read more

The movie theater is really great here but not much more to see. The mall always seems so dead which i guess isnt a bad thing if you hate shopping in crowds.. Seems to attract alot of trouble making young adults though. Saw a few guys looking into car windows in the parking lot.. Needs more security. If you visit this mall make sure your goods are out of sight. read more

Unfortunately, this is one of those rare times in which a location deserves a rating lower than 1. There is really nothing good/great about this mall other than the movie theater. There are only a handful of stores open and the food court can't retain any of the eateries. This is by far the worst mall I have ever been to. read more

Back about 5 years ago this mall was kind of okay. Had a lot more stores than it does now. Dillards, JCpenny, and Hollister are only a few of the huge compaies that still operate in this mall. Many stores that occupy it are people selling crappy cheap shoes, costume jewelry, or ghetto clothes. Never go to this mall anymore. Very dirty, no one's there, and of course very ghetto. Always stared at or someones either trying to talk to me which I find gross. I definitely 100% don't feel safe in this mall! Go to Millenia read more

Gees people, yes there may be some empty spots in the mall but who cares. It's still nice, for one thing the movie theater is right there, in the mall. It's awesome. It's way cheaper than any other amc theater within 100 miles. And the ice cream shop is awesome. There's also many clothing stores and kids area is pretty cool. read more

West oaks, west oaks west oaks.. this is no longer a 'mall'. Only time I go to west oaks is if I need to buy something quick and I would only shop at Dillards, Victorias secret, gymboree or childrens place. Most of the 'good' stores have closed and only unknown named stores remain and open up. read more

Wrost customer service ever,they are judgemental and have rude and ghetto sales representative working there. We spent chunk of money there every other month and we spent a 400 hundred today alone, yet not even a thank you for our commission. We will not be shopping there ever again.
